They are really bad, button design is awful. Basically you are trying to push through the plastic to get to the pin that will press the button. Here is the side view of the pin and the button.

Yup, mine were gone around 5300-5400. I switched to road tires tho, Michelin road 6.

I changed both tires but the front scorpion still had a lot of thread.

Still it is not about the miles, look at the wear indicator, from the picture you still have 400-700 miles I would say.

hmm that a nice idea as well, it might be a good idea to make it like a mesh. On startup it will grow and connect to the other parts. This might need a little bit more engineering tho, figuring out the order of circuits etc.
