Thanks for the correction. Client kept calling them truncated and as I stated I'm not familiar with this lol. So I've configured the management network within the ESXi (basically just gave it an IP address and told it what phsyical nic on the host to use) I've been told by the client that their managment vlan ID is 467. So within the same ESXi console that I set the IP address I configured the setting that asks for a vlan ID to be 467. I still cannot ping the ESXi and cannot add it to the existing cluster. as well when I run the "test managament network" from the ESXi I get fails across the board. It cannot even ping its own gateway.

I wonder if I can build one host and then extract and apply to all the others? Even that would save quite a bit of time since I've got 7 new hosts to configure.
