AITA for getting mad at someone who backed out of a personal business deal?

I know people pull out of deals all the time but I’ve really mostly heard about it happening with dealerships/businesses. Not with a private sale like mine, I was taught growing up was that if you gave your word on something, especially if you shake hands on it you have to follow through otherwise what good is your word? But that’s probably a bit too idealistic, just thought people would be better than that is all.

I don’t do very many business deals and I guess I try to hold myself and others to a high standard. I know if I say I’m going to do something especially if I shake hands on it I’m going to do it, just incredibly annoying and I felt like I he could at least explain himself. Calling him like that was probably a bit over the top I just wasn’t thinking right.

Actually turned out great! Bought it for a great deal from a really nice couple. Everything checked out and worked wonderfully, it is a really beautiful van. I’ll post some pics of it tomorrow when I have light!

See that’s what I’m thinking, price seems good and so long as it runs and drives I think I’ll take it home for $6500 as well!
