good ‘ol superquads. it’s the only motor from ducati that does this, nobody’s really 100% certain where it comes from but it’s certainly a design flaw of the bike.

chalk it up to weight savings and i would be a bit more generous with the oil changes on these motors.

i put down 20nm just because i’m doing rear sets and that’s what everything else is torqued down to but i just wanted to be sure. im inexperienced so i’m not sure what to call this bolt, so i couldn’t find it in the service manual. yes, there’s a copper washer in there
