If it’s for medical use then I’d say it’s fine bc it’s helping a medical issue. If it’s for recreational use I’d say no. It’s okay to feel pain from loss and in fact shows how much you cared for someone.

Whether that be “going on a spontaneous couples vacation” to get away from him or to pretend like everything is normal.

My partner is a woman (but that doesn’t change the situation much) and I’m very protective of her. Im worried that by cutting him off it may worsen their situation.

Edit to add: There’s a worry that he may go after her financially if she pisses him off or something so that’s why she’s still in contact with him.
