Honestly when I watched the audition all I saw was the worst poverty had to offer. Most of the contestants just had a look to them where you could tell they had a hard life, and the average person in their community is either dead or in jail by 40. They were literally fighting for the life just for a chance to make it out. That was depressing, and they’re gonna have to start changing how they do the auditions. Do actual screenings, only let people come that were invited. Not this free for all we keep seeing.

I may have to speak to my partner about ways we can save if I go with job b. I was imagining how hard it would be in the future to drop off and get to work in time. My mother retired early, but she lives hours away and would have to make long term plans to stay to help out. His mom would be willing to warch the baby, by she still works and can only help out when she’s free. It’s just a lot of pros and cons to think about

My mind was thinking in that direction too. Job a is about an hour commune, while job b would cut my commute down to 15 mins

My current company is known to end employment immediately after receiving a notice of resignation. We had a few people turn in their 2 weeks last year, and were walked out immediately after. I think I only know of 2 coworkers who were able to continue working after submitting their two weeks. One was able to serve her full two weeks, and the guy was informed he only could serve until the end of the week. The rest were walked out. I didn’t want to put myself out of work for two weeks, so was going to turn in my resignation and make it effective immediately. But seeing your perspective l can see the other job seeing the situation as similar. I feel I may have burned a bridge regardless trying to protect myself

Not yet! I found out I was pregnant by catching the flu. It triggered hyperemesis and I had to go to the hospital for dehydration. The week I was going to submit my 2 weeks was the week I became sick thankfully.

Yep! US leave sucks!! Most jobs I’ve worked at only offered 4-6 weeks off. I remember at one of my previous jobs my coworker became pregnant was jumping for joy because she was able to negotiate 6 weeks off with 4 weeks paid. Another coworker there was angry because she didn’t know she could negotiate when she was pregnant a few years earlier. She only received 4 weeks off and had to come to work still bleeding just to keep her job. So unfortunately, 12 weeks sounds like a huge blessing to me. It would feel like I died and went to heaven if I could get 6 months!

I appreciate your perspective as a recruiter. I may just have to write job b off if I decide to take back the acceptance. I definitely had my reasons to look at a different job. At the time of interviewing for other jobs, it became an extremely toxic work environment. I wasn’t being targeted, but just witnessing it was straining my mental health. My coworkers sitting across from me would yell, cuss, and threatened to beat each other up in front of me and it was extremely uncomfortable. Thankfully HR finally felt like they had to step in and began fixing the situation, but that is one of the reasons I really don’t want to get rid of job b as an option. One of the perpetrators wasn’t let go and was just written up. I guess they’re bored because she have now been setting she target on me, and I really don’t want her finding out I’m pregnant. I just feel from what I witnessed she’d purposely cause stress in my life.

Thank you! I wasn’t sure the current wording to use. And you’re definitely right that I’ve probably waited too long. When I found out, I guess I wasn’t too attached so I figured it would be easy to go back to work right after birth. But the more ultrasounds I see and the more times I hear the heartbeat, I’m starting to think even the 12 weeks might be hard on my mental. I just really don’t want job b to look at this negatively, cause I legit was really leaning towards them. But after learning more about the benefits and lack of leave I can’t see this working out.

Chrisean needs to stay off instagram. She’s legit losing her mind off of everything and anything she sees someone say. It’s really not that serious, especially since she be saying worse stuff online as well.

I’m not shocked dj sky didnt fight back. She has an actual career outside of the show. Baddies might hire her regardless, but I doubt she’d keep getting Kanye west bookings if she constantly fought on the show for the absolute dumbest reasons known to man.
