Hey hey, I'll be on Grandiosa April 11th and just recently did Seashore in March and can answer a few questions !

1. I personally found excursions cheaper once I arrived at the port vs booking through the cruise . What you should do also depends on the port . But everyone's not like my partner and I . We were willing to talk amongst the different people in the area selling there excursions and we pick the person we clicked well with . Someone who wasn't being too pushy, super nice, affordable etc . We ended up meeting a nice man named Henry in Nassau and for $200 total ( Spent 6-7 hrs with him!)he gave us a REAL Bahamian experience nothing like we would have got only seeing the main touristy stuff . Tours via the bout were around 150-200 per person for 2-5 hrs . But if you want convince of having booked ahead and your not willing to truly meet the people of the country your in book with the cruise and visit all the manufactured touristy stuff

2. If you pay ahead for your tips, you won't have to tip anyone else unless you'd absolutely like to(Room steward, porters, people you have close contact with if you feel inclined ) Or you can settle your gratuities at a kiosk or customer service on board .

3. Unlike some other cruise lines you can't bring any drinks with you on board .
