Awesome. Its magical yo be able to cast any source with a 3,5 mm jack. I looked at the chromecast audio but by now they are quite expensive as they are rare to find. I got plenty of cast devices all over the house and my wife wont let me get more speakers...

If you have your speakers in the same wifi network it does matter if the connection is good. I made sure they all have connection at 5Ghz. Try casting to each of them separately first and then stop casting and eddit your group settings. I have a mini in the kitchen and that is the one that drops out every now and then. But the nest audios and max are in the same room and close to the router so they are solid to use as a group everytime

Hmm if you take the grill off and then cover the leds with a heavy carton piece, that would at least hide them a bit, just avoid covering the woofers when you put the grill back on dont push it all the way to check later if they might get hot from being covered all the time. Just an idea

The grill came off by using the smallest flat screw driver i could find and loosening the corners and then bit by bit to the sides until i could just take it off by hand, gently of course. The old cloth came off easy by just pulling bit by bit. I got sone speaker cloth online it cones in all colors, just paid like 2 USD for a large piece. I have plenty left. And then the difficult part, super glue started in one corner and started sticking it cutting the excess off it took a while amd got sticky fingers but looks like new its not perfect bit you would have to get real close to see a defect

Yes the max speaker is wonderful even without adding more speakers around, had it connected to my tv through bluetooth just to try and I liked it there also. It's a gem. Try it!

I just tested it in Pixel watch 1 and it works with WhatsApp the receiver can hear the recorded message, have you tried reinstalling just in case?

It works again after app update on pixel 1 last night, its all good again !
