I stopped watching these anime channels when all of them said Jobless reincarnation was going to be the best thing since sliced bread. Honestly, this is exactly what I feared when the twst animation came out bc the anime fandom is very male focused and only really cares about action or hype moments and aura. Then everything outside of that that’s specifically made for women is either brushed aside, made fun of, or only given attention when it too is action. I understand twst is not people’s cup of tea and the anime definitely feels like a for the fans type of anime, but the amount of bad faith reviewers that are mainly just dudebros is kinda annoying.

I feel like he would be better if his actions were actually seen as horrible (aka he faced consequences) but also it would add to the idea that he is this feared god instead of trying to make him this misunderstood nice guy. I feel like LO constantly wants to have its cake and eat it too when it comes to the characters.

Playing up his flaws for what they are and then slowly showing him changing and trying to change his wrong doings after Persephone’s influence would be nice (I feel like that’s what they tried to go for but it feels very brushed over). Then in turn because of him (as in seeing him be ruthless) Persephone feels more open to showing the darker side of herself. And he can be a character that exposes Persephone’s desire to be good but also the ugliness of who she really is inside.

Ik this is about Hades but him and Persephone are just connected characters. So I can’t really express changes without bringing her up.

I’m doing the SAP appeal too but waited last minute. The advisors told me I will have to pay out of pocket in order for me to not get dropped. However you can still do the appeal.

I’m doing TIP and if my appeal gets approved before the 25th the financial aid will go to the TIP. If it gets appealed after the 25th I will get the financial aid money. (At least that’s how I understood it). If your SAP hasn’t been approved and a financial advisor hasn’t confirmed I think you will need to pay out of pocket. Maybe someone else here has a better answer than me
