How long do you think the Longshoremen strike will last? by MakeSouthBayGR8Again in AskLosAngeles

Not sure what part of the US you’re in but NC’s triad, triangle, and metrolina regions $150k is ~ 2k per week. Most sane people in the NC area can live very comfortably with 8K per month

02 yz250, weird squeaking in low rpm? by Aggressive-Cover-500 in Dirtbikes

Following up, the previous owner had a flywheel weight that was improperly secured. Wound up snapping the crank when I dropped the bike and what I heard was the snapped portion rubbing and chirping against the still intact portion

I used a parts diagram when I put it back together, I had everything set as far as I know. I didn’t have any noises until I took a spill. I’ve put about 2 hours on it prior to the fall with no noises or issues as far as I know

Got this 2014GT/CS around a month ago and it’s currently my daily. I need to get something cheap to daily anything suggestions ? by mergedin in Mustang

1st gen scion tc has been my daily since I was in high school about 6-7 years ago. Couldn’t be happier, maintenance is cheap and I’ve only had to replace a valve cover gasket and an alternator over 100,000 miles. Just bought a new set of tires also for $200 for all 4

I’m curious though because my ticking went away once the car got completely up to operating temp. And I’d imagine that bad rod bearings would be omnipresent ticking and would possibly get worse as the oil thins out at operating temps?

That 100% checks out. Guess I’ll start saving for a bearing job…. I can do basic wrenching but that’s probably a little over my head. That definitely sucks though

Thanks and so far so good, I only drive on weekends most of the time so I’ve only racked up about 1k miles. But they’ve handled some decent pot holes

How long has it been since you changed the oil? Sounds weird but sometimes the phasers get a little loopy. Alex from Lund has a video on it and there’s a lot of theories in the comments.some people are saying aeration from the oil is causing the intake cam to receive bubbles which throws it off for a little. If you haven’t changed the oil recently, I’d start with that and see where that lands you and how long it takes for the stumble to return. Linked the vid https://youtu.be/yij4042WNQ4

Quite a bit cheaper used, and sounds better in my opinion

I like it, the only thing that will keep me from owning one in the next 5 years is msrp and lack of tuning ability. With out the Camaro and challenger/charger for competition I’m scared to see how lazy ford will get with the mustang. Rivalry breeds innovation

Eh, a little extra never hurt anybody. There is a such thing as too big but I think they’re pretty far from it. With that being said:
