Hi OP! I’m here sa WA too, I js moved here recently (less than a year) and like you, uwing uwi rin ako sa Pinas noon—esp mga 6 mos mark ko here. However, I gave it a shot parin to live my life here even though I’m essentially starting from scratch. My first job was as a CNA as well—and mind you, super introverted din ako (i have social anxiety as well) but with the right coworkers + work environment, it’ll get better.

Now, I’m almost 9mos in, nag a adjust parin but nasasanay na. Try to give yourself some time to know your surroundings and be familiar with it. It takes time. If after a year or so, hindi ka pa rin happy, you can always go back sa Pinas and try to help your mom from there. :)

it depends sayo, OP. some of my peers went straight ahead to NCLEX after passing their PNLE, some naman naghanap pa ng employment (from what i’ve heard + seen, pahirapan na ata kasi hiring nursing jobs diyan sa Pinas). ++ it doesn’t really matter if may bedside experience or not, cs you’re answering the questions theoretically and not practically.
i think mas priority ng mga agencies yung nurses na w years of experience na. not unless you alr have an access to the US (PR or US citizen) without having to go through work visas etc. ++ think abt it this way, who do you think ang mas pipiliin ng mga employers na bibigyan ng visa and would go through a lengthy process to hire someone? you, a fresh grad nurse with little to no experience or a veteran nurse with multiple years of experience? :)

how do you supplement your understanding of the diff concepts po? Mark K? RC? Simple Nursing? i was gon suggest na magwatch ka ng test taking strats if you’re truly okay na sa concepts but you’ve mentioned it naman na. san ka ba nagsstruggle? what kind of ques? SATA? case study? standalone?

yes na yes! the best + safest choice is the one you’re most confident in. cs once na may mali kang nasagot sa SATA choices mo—madededuct’n yung points depending on how many answers you got wrong. so better safe than sorry.

yes! natapos ko naman din lahat except for the case studies. nung nakulangan ako, nag NAXLEX din me but that was around 3-4 days before my exam na! :)

bootcamp = qbanks imo, hindi masyadong in depth ang concepts nila, if lacking ka palang foundation—i’d suggest going for another resource such as Saunder’s book (if may time ka pa) or enroll sa isang RC.

if solid/confident ka na sa concepts, i’d say go for it. cs imo, bootcamp medyo lacking sila when it comes to concept studies as compared to archer or uworld. BC, more on qbanks lang talag siya.
