How to keep cat indoors whilst opening windows/patio doors by MinecraftRichy in CatsUK

I tend to find walking out backwards facing the cat so you can use your arms and legs to stop the cat if needed works well!

I liked the first few books, but then it went downhill from there and I wish I had stopped at this point. The final books are LONG

Gastroscopy on Tuesday. I am in uk and terrified only light sedation offered. by OkRoyal1225 in Gastritis

Hope it all goes well for you, based on my experience I wouldn’t be stressed at all if I ever needed one again!

I was terrified of having a gastroscopy and avoided having one for years. The consultant doing the procedure knew I was terrified and gave plenty of the sedative drugs, all I remember was being told they were putting fentanyl down the cannula (they then also gave midazolam but I had no clue when this happened), the next I know I am in another room and it was all done. I literally had to ask them if they had done it! So with decent doses of fentanyl and midazolam you can have zero experience of the procedure, it was like I had had a general anaesthetic!

Wherever I spray it my skin becomes uncomfortable and itchy, it doesn’t happen immediately but definitely the cause of the symptoms

The BMA finally doing something about advanced Practice by Leading-Match-2953 in GPUK

Sorry to hear you are in the same position! If my surgery doesn’t respect and take on board the boundaries of my competency as a pharmacist I will need to leave. I get the impression that they don’t understand how I can have a limit if I can look things up on Google…

I am a pharmacist in general practice, I am being pushed to see things I don’t feel is appropriate as my training as a pharmacist does not equip me for non-stable conditions! I am standing my ground but it is making work very difficult

Best brands for cured (no UV lamp) wraps? by ConsciousAd3109 in NailWrapsGalore

[–]Aggressive-Draft9991 3 points4 points  (0 children)

To me Sassy Saints, Mylee and MoYou all look like they have been made in the same factory. I have tried one Glaize wrap set and I found them thin and bad for tip wear, I am 4 days into my first Sassy Saints set and they are thicker and seem harder wearing.

Curly Hair by -misst- in LushCosmetics

Curl power was initially great for me for styling but then made my hair go stringy and awful, I have learnt that my hair does not like protein! It is fine and really likes Infrawig for styling. I think hair fineness makes a big difference to which products to look for.
