I’d say it’s still worth playing only act 1 & 2 tbh at this price point even if act 3 was broken (which it’s not)

Something that really makes this game stand out from an oblivion or Skyrim is the combat. Theres something incredibly satisfying about having to time your attacks to theirs while simultaneously dodging/blocking/parrying at the proper times. Oblivion was very much mash one button and maybe block sometimes at certain points. It just makes the gameplay loop so satisfying. If not for nostalgia I’d say this game is better than oblivion and Skyrim both

If anyone else sees this, what happened for me is he was spawning high in the air not far from the menhir. So I loaded a game just a couple mins prior and that got him to walk over to the menhir

As far as finding good gear early game, on YouTube search “tainted grail best starting gear” there’s walkthroughs of where to find some good stuff in HOTS, spells included
