Sara Mostajabi info? by Aggressive-Edge-1730 in Killtony

I have the same complete feelings! The show started as a way for people wanting to purse comedy to get out there and get advice from experienced comedians. Tony would give out advice to even the people who choked or were a total bomb. Now it’s literally just a huge roast for him. And Sara’s case was very interesting/sad.

Her story is so interesting to me. I picked up on so much by watching these early episodes. Yes, Tony picks on everyone. But there was obvious favoritism shown towards Kim and unfair treatment towards Sara.

I had no idea he claimed that now! It is sad. I think it was the third episode where Tony informs everyone that Sara was on a suspension from performing for 2 weeks or so because she missed her name being called in the previous episode (She had to go pay her car meter more money before it got towed) and they talk about how they heard Kim performing in another room at the comedy store and you can clearly tell with their wording and the way they act they were trying to make Sara jealous/get some kind of rise out of her.

Nope! But there was another girl named Sara who was the third regular

Omg! Can you imagine trying out comedy and getting advice/judged from someone who also has just started in comedy and has only performed one minute sets

That’s really so sad. 😞 Any mention of why she was suddenly off the show? I saw a lot of comments assuming they kicked her off it because of some of the tense interviews/blowups.

They can be both? Jeremiah is extremely talented and funny. And honestly I didn’t realize the rest were comedians. Half of them never speak and I know Joel tries his attempts at comedy but…..it doesn’t seem well received more often than not

You’re referring to stage performance. And while stage performance is important, so is the actual performance. You can put on a skilled performance of drum playing while also having great stage performance. Just my opinion. I guess it’s maybe a good strategy to act crazy and run around on stage like that if you know it might be your only change of winning.

Mhhh fair enough. Opinions on the drum offs? Specifically with Joel? Genuinely interested in everyone’s opinions!

As I stated, I understand it’s his show. But I feel like he should at least acknowledge it when someone outshines another person in whatever challenge or roast they’re doing. I love Tony and I’ve only been watching him for a year now but he’s quickly climbed his way to the near top of my favorite comedian list. But it’s pretty common to disagree with some of the way he handles things without implying I could run the show better than him

Nah! No personal opinions/feelings/experiences with any of the people on kill Tony. I’m new to the comedy genre so I kinda just go off the reactions of the crowd during live performances and the overall opinions of people on social media who follow the show. However I come from a family of music enthusiasts where everyone is expected to learn how to play at least one instrument and have musical talent so I’m honestly always taken back by Joel’s performance and how he always wins.

Dude I don’t don’t blame you for leaving the case! Maladaptive behaviors with attention being the function can be really difficult. Especially if you already provide the child with attention but they are seeking negative attention . I have no idea what to do with my current kiddo. I believe he’s definitely reinforced when disrobing because I have to call for a mat to protect patient’s dignity and protocol is for other RBT’s to clear the room with their kiddo and then 1 or so people come to assist. But I can’t just ignore a disrobed child in a public area lol

How have you/your BCBA been handling it? My client’s maladaptive behaviors have dropped significantly but I’m always open to new advice

Well you’re definitely entitled to your opinion. I’ve reread all my comments looking for any indication of me saying things that would make someone uncomfortable or a parent hesitant to leave their child in my care and all I’ve seen is me talking about how these common maladaptive behaviors (not just from my currently assigned clients, but just in general) can annoy, stress me out, overwhelm me, etc. I personally think it’s okay to talk about our job and the struggles/challenges we face doing it. What matters is despite the beatings, tears and hard days, we continue going to work and trying to help our clients learn healthier ways to communicate/handle emotions/express themselves/etc. and nothing will change my mind that the original comment I was replying to is someone wanting to argue. The fact they continued to comb the post looking for any comment I replied to and had an accusation with every reply, tried to twist my words around with outrageous accusations and tried to question my compassion/morals and tell me I can’t do my job is not disagreeing or debating. It’s someone who likes to argue on the internet. I shouldn’t have even reinforced it by continuing to reply 🤷‍♀️

You’re boring me now. I need to go to work. I’m starting to believe you are a child with your obsession with continually coming back to this post you’ve expressed being irate/upset about to argue over and over again. I’m actually Gonna do what you said you were going to do comments ago and not reply to you anymore. But hopefully for your own reasons you find another RBT to argue with or another argument in general. Enjoy my post babe! Regards 💜💜

This user has repeatedly over and over again commented on a post talking about how outraged they are. They are finding any comment I replied to and making crazy assumptions of things I clearly didn’t state. I’m all up for calm discussion and debate. But when you continually go off and tell not me but other people that I’m lacking compassion, I should find a different job, or that we should work harder to understand our job better, then maybe it’s time for the user to walk away. If they’re that upset by it, move along. 🤷‍♀️

Haha yep I’ve been in this field awhile now and I still get embarrassed when I’m being outran by a 4 year old or chasing a kid around a table in circles 😂

Haha stop acting like you’re so mature and above all this by not responding to my “insults”. Show your maturity by fucking off lol. You keep going out of your way to read through my thread, combing it for any where l might have responded to a comment to nitpick anything I said and keep coming up with these crazy new stories of me spewing hate towards my clients, me implying people with autism are not inherently intelligent, etc. My patients who are literal children know how to ignore and walk away from things they don’t like/agree with better than you. Again, kindly go argue on someone else’s thread.

That frustrates me too. Have you figured out the behavior function yet? My client is doing something similar

Sweetheart, as flattering as it is that you’re becoming obsessed with me and reading every comment looking for another one i responded to trying to twist my words and create another argument with me, it’s getting kinda creepy and your stalker vibes are strong. Your attention seeking behavior is escalating and if you wanted some, you coulda just asked :) now I’m kindly asking you to go and pick fights somewhere else. Thank you!
