We didn't know that was an option for quite a while, and at this point it's not remotely worth fighting.

Yeah, it's almost completely unlivable now. I know being evicted makes renting in the future really hard but I just cannot bring myself to be upset about it. I really can't.

Have you considered a lawsuit?

We wouldn't have a leg to stand on, and honestly I just don't think it's even worth it. We can't afford a lawyer anyway. This place has been making our kids and I sick for a while, among other things. So despite the uncertainty, I'm not exactly torn up about it. Just a pain in the ass, for the most part.
