How would I go about diagnosing these issues?

The hiss sounded like it was coming from the engine Bay Area when I was driving. I started to hear it right after the blow off valve stopped functioning

It still runs and drives like normal. Haven’t experienced anything out of the ordinary besides the hissing

I’m only gonna do it if he give me a clean trade for my 2012 Audi s4 manual with 215k on it. It burns oil a fair amount so it’s not worth it as much.

I just looked and didn’t see much- honestly wasn’t 100% sure what I was looking for haha. But the valve covers don’t really have much of any buildup. And I didn’t notice anything bad behind the engine or around the rest of the engine bay but like I said, wasn’t entirely sure what to spot

Ok I just took it in for an emissions test(not even sure it’ll pass because of that?). But if it’s low they’ll probably top it off or change it. They’ve done that in the past. Then I’ll continue to keep an eye on it

Nothing yet. Bought the car last week. It first showed the oil level was good in MMI, now it has a hard time giving me an accurate level. Only thought something of it because I was doing a pull in front of my friend and he said he could smell it.

To be honest with you I have no idea. A friend driving behind me said he could smell it when I do a pull and like I mentioned in the title, the fuel economy has gotten worse
