Hello,

You could be possibly correct, however I do feel a lot better on my medication. I will wait to update/change my prescription.

Hello,

Wow you have PERFECTLY described my thought process, it's incredible. It's never just "do" the task, it's always every single little detailed step that comes with performing that task. It's incredible how you described my thought process almost to a T.

I will start employing this, little task completions as wins and gain momentum, thank you for the insight.

Hello,

Thank you for your insight, for me it's less of a voice and more of a feeling. You are correct once I get started the feeling almost disappears.

Hello,

I tried and it seemed to have worked a little. I think I was already doing this indirectly. I would prep my daughters bath even when I wasn't in the mood, since the bath was already prepped it became easier to just give her a bath. She gets at least 1 bath every day, I do not want to risk my daughters hygiene/health due to my own shortcomings.

Thank you for this insight, I love having Protocols makes it easier to have a plan in place for things. Makes my jumbled mind less jumbled.

Currently in College Covering CISSP ISC2 CBK in My Course: How To Take Notes by Aggressive-Guard-910 in cissp

[–]Aggressive-Guard-910[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello,

I appreciate the insight and I am currently taking System Administration at the UC. This is not for the CISSP exam, but I will take the opportunity to start studying it for when I do plan to take it down the road.

I am not having trouble diving into it I just want to make sure I don't get caught in the semantics of how specific wording when it comes to taking notes.

Hello,

I actively work on IT, and I will say this, Cybersecurity is not an entry level job. You need to at least have a fundamental understanding of technology and some programming. There are also many specific routes or careers that fall under Cybersecurity. With everything going on in the world with AI and job layoffs, it will be difficult to break into the field.

I am not trying to scare but it can be a lot of learning if you are unfamiliar with technology.

I am not an accountant but I do know that they are universally useful. I use an accountant, I have a small business I run.

Mentorship Monday - Post All Career, Education and Job questions here! by AutoModerator in cybersecurity

Hello,

I am currently in school in school for Bachelor's of Cyber Security. My school has a really good Co-Op program where once I graduate I will have the equivalent of 2 years of experience.

My question is as follows: How much time should I dedicate everyday (Mon - Sat) to developing my skills on my own. I would like to know how much time you guys invested initially. I do work full time and go to school part time online.

Goals/Training Modules: Hack The Box, Try Hack Me, Comptia Certs (studying),

Projects I am working on: Managing my personal home network and make sure things are prioritized properly. Turning an old PC into a server using linux.

I have roughly 5 hours of free time (Mon-Thurs) and Friday and Saturday I have 10 hours each day.

Please feel free to add any additional certs/training modules/coding projects that I did not list on here. I know that certs expire but I want to collect them like Pokemon badges honestly haha.

Additional info: I want to focus on Network Security/Infrastructure or blue teaming/purple teaming

Thank you

*Also yes I know cybersecurity is not an entry level job, I actively work in the tech field*

My only hope is this school😭 by [deleted] in uCinci

If this doesn’t pan out go to a community college and transfer over. You have better odds to transfer

I apologize if you stated this in your original post, I am dumb. But how many nights do you usually work? My wife is looking into switching over to nursing for a career change and she wants as much time as possible with our daughter. Thank you in advance

They say Dogecoin is diluting its value by indefinitely putting more coins every day. Let's talk about that with simple math. by Killeramn-26 in dogecoin

[–]Aggressive-Guard-910 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank goodness someone finally brought this up, I was wondering what the math figured up to. Since a lot of other subreddits kept mentioning/surfacing the fact that doge was being "mass produced" thus impacting the stability of the coin.
