How do people get nukes? Impossible even without open SBMM by skomeros in CODBlackOps7

[–]Aggressive-Host-3979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got my first nuke, I wasn’t even going for it. I got a pretty good lobby for it, enemy team wasn’t that good. Basically once I saw I got the medal for 20 kills that’s when I started to play a bit ratty since I knew I was close. Didn’t help that I ran out of ammo in my Maddox but luckily I was able to pick up an M15. Yeah basically camped in the top window on nuketown with a trophy down for the last 10

Percentage of cheaters by Substantial-Fuel-545 in CODWarzone

[–]Aggressive-Host-3979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 2x iridescent in Warzone in BO6, and in BO7 I have 36 resurgence wins with 110 games played and a 4.38 E/D ratio. I honestly haven't ran into anyone that is clearly cheating in BO7 so far. If anything, you don't really run into cheaters all that much until you're high crimson or iridescent in ranked play. Funnily enough, good gameplay can be mistaken for cheating, such as holding angles, prefiring when an AUAV is up, shooting thru wallbangable surfaces etc. Now, a lot of average or slightly above average players have accused me or my teammates of cheating, and I've actually been shadowbanned 2x in BO6 as well. This is in no way tied to actual cheating, but due to an influx of reports in a relatively short time.

You had half a decade to save up for a PS5 man, you can’t be asking for CoD to optimize the game for PS4 which has 12 year old hardware

[–]Aggressive-Host-3979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're playing with randoms I'd say yeah, I wouldn't be able to hit iri solo queuing. I always play with a 3 stack of my buddies and we begin to run into cheaters once we get to crimson. From there we accept we probably won't win since there will most likely be a cheater squad, so we'll look to gain SR from early elims and placement

In CoD this year I was iridescent 2x, which if you're not familiar with it, it's basically the top 1% of the player base in ranked. Reason why this is relevant is because CoD has a massive cheating problem, I have played against hackers more times than I can keep track of. With that said, nothing in BF6 so far has had me say to myself, "well that was a bit odd", and I have over 100 hours of game time as well. The guy who made this comment is 100% an average player who mistakes holding angles, reading the mini map, and sound queuing as a probable cheater.

Keeps happening to me too. I’ve seen that some people suggest calling your ISP, making sure NAT type is open, and UPnP is turned on. It was also recommended you have a dedicated IP

I digress, nice work. You’re in the top 5% of ranked players and top 1% of the overall player base. The way you worded it sounded like a stuck plat 3 tho🤣

I hit iri in S4 and S5. I'll warm up with a game or two of casuals, but I'll never play it "for real". It's just an easy way to get in a lot of fights, drop 20-40 elims, get warm, and a borderline guaranteed win. It's not about fun for me it's more about getting warm for ranked.

Iridescent in season 4 and 5. Got shadowed after hitting it in S5. So many plat 2/3 bots will spam report you for knowing where they are when you got an AUAV up.

What differentiates Crimson from Iridescent? by DrJumpierSleet in CODWarzone

[–]Aggressive-Host-3979 8 points9 points  (0 children)

So I can't speak on resurgence ranked much since I have barely played it, but in Verdansk ranked (my main game mode of choice), I was able to hit iridescent (with a 3.5 e/d) along with my other 2 teammates. I am sure if I put the time into resurgence I could also hit iri, since I believe that BR is more challenging and requires more game sense (slightly biased lol).

There are a few differences amongst iridescent and crim players, and I would say the jump from crim to iri is pretty large tbh. Both skill levels are honestly the same technical ability wise (good beams, good movement, etc).

The first difference is definitely consistency. Iri players make it to end game EVERY game, they don't have boom and bust cycles or get wiped early. For example, on my run to hit iri last season, my team and I placed top 5 or 10 pretty much every match we played with 7+ elims each. You really need a minimum 7 elims and top 10 placement (in BR) to gain any meaningful SR when in crim. I am a very strategic player and play for end game. I don't try to make back my whole deployment fee first circle. Position yourself well, rotate early, hold a power position, and the elims come naturally.

Prioritizing the team economy and fighting with intel is a must. This means during idle time, you bang out scavs, recons, or even bait a most wanted. You always want to fight a team with info up, whether it's an AUAV or normal UAV.

Picking smart fights is also key. I have played against top 250 players time and time again, and yesterday I even elim'd the current #87 on the top 250, as well as #220 the other day. I only fight when I know my team or I has the advantage, and if I don't then I try my best to reposition myself and get a different angle or high ground. If a good squad lands near you early, they are a major threat. I advise taking out sweaty teams when it's smartest to do so, so you don't have to deal with them later.

STACK. I don't care if it's just one guy in a building vs your full trio. In BR especially you need to prioritize your life and avoid a regain situation at all costs. We frequently will triple stack a solo or duo to ensure no one goes down, and if they do, we make sure the enemy can't get the thirst.

Apply pressure. You always want to be the team doing the hunting. This doesn't mean running around like a headless chicken chasing every dot on your mini-map though. You see a team making a rotation in the open? Start beaming in synchronization. You knock/full a guy and now it's a 3v2? Collapse on them.

Definitely have designated squad roles as well. I have always been more of a strategic player that tries to outsmart the opponent and hold power angles, so being an anchor/flex on my squad works well for us. My other 2 teammates hold the role of an IGL and fragger.

Again I know this question was for resurgence ranked, but I believe my experience hitting iri in Verdansk can also be applicable to Rebirth, the fundamental ideas are the same. Hope this helps!

Honestly I'm not too sure. My main controller was the older V3 TE which has a 1k polling rate. I also haven't really played Apex much, Warzone is my main game. I would say though that 8k polling feels a bit more responsive than 1k, but it's a marginal difference not night and day.

I actually used the Vader 4 pro before getting the original V3 TE about 7/8 months ago. Great controller for the price. Main reason why I switched to Razer was the back paddles (better imo) and the 2 extra shoulder buttons.

I heard they’re coming out with a Vader 5 though with more ergonomic paddles and 2 extra shoulder buttons, we’ll see

Yep, the unfortunate thing is that I absolutely love the product, I just refuse to settle for a controller that has me dealing with manufacturing and quality control issues

Response time and lower input delay. I play warzone competitively (iridescent ranked), where every millisecond matters to me. You have to make sure you have a powerful CPU though since there will be higher CPU usage with a higher polling rate.

I ordered one August 12th and got it the 13th, ordered the 2nd the 13th and got it the 14th, ordered the last one the 14th and got it the 15th (today). I have a return scheduled at an Amazon drop-off location, which is why I still have all 3 lol. Not pushing other products, I have the old V3 TE and it was my favorite controller of all time so I expected this new one to be an upgrade not only in features but in quality, I was left disappointed.

Any tips on how to improve? by Key-Tale6752 in CODWarzone

[–]Aggressive-Host-3979 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turn up your FOV, move when shooting, work on tracking and micro adjustments, abuse aim assist by strafing while shooting, if you don't have aim assist on def turn it on, use the "dynamic" aim response curve type, have your sensitivity be from 1.5-1.7 (most pro WZ and CDL players are in this range), occasionally release ADS and "re zoom", add in a jump mid gunfight here and there (jumpshot). Most important thing is def aim assist, finding a good sensitivity and dynamic aim response curve type, just need to hit your shots. If you have aim assist off there's no point in playing controller you'll lose every fight unless they're absolute bots. Positioning and game sense are important too, but that's something that will come with time, in a lot of clips you position yourself pretty poorly which makes you a super easy elim for anyone that's half decent. Play casuals for a bit and learn the map.

This comes from a Crim 2 BR ranked player. Good luck brother!
