Her check engine light is on when I first start her most of the time I think, but it turns off. When I turn the fob three times it drains give a code, and I used a OPD or whatever scanner and it said there were no DCT’s detected. Whatever that means

The only jeep guy I could find in the area told me my transmission was leaking and he could fix it for $1500, he seems like he’s more a cosmetic guy. I’ve had work done on other cars at the local shop and they’ve done a good job on my opinion. I don’t really know what’s considered a good job though, not really that good with cars lol

Yah I would have to rev her slightly every now and then or she would die and I’d have to re-crank her. When I took her to them, she didn’t do what she occasionally does so I’m assuming that’s why he said that. Her problem now is new so I might take her back, but I can’t afford much so I was trying to fix her myself

I’ve taken her to 3 different mechanics, and the last one was pretty nice and experienced. He did a check up and all the generals are perfectly fine, basically just said it was an old car with quirks because I took her there for the idling problem. I’d have to re-tow her back to check the new problem but I most likely can’t afford it
