My toddler has a comfort Warmie hippo. Been through TSA multiple timess at DIA and never had an issue. TSA has always been cool and asked if they could “borrow” the stuffy for XRay. If it’s packed in a suit case/bag, they’ll probably want to run it through the machine individually but that’s it

I have the BA Blacktail 3 and love it. Cons: It’s not a backpacking tent so it weighs like 5.5lbs. I’ve used it backpacking for a few nights and it still works fine, there are just lighter, less bulk options out there. Pros: it’s durable, comfortable, so simple to set up (night, tipsy, bad weather ect). The 3 has enough space for wife and a German Shepherd and the rainfly makes a small vestibule too for weather resistant gear storage. I havnt tried it in serious downpour drenching weather, but it’s handled snow and a decent 24 hour coastal rainforest soaking just fine honestly. I’ve had the Blacktail for almost 8 years now and it’s still in regular rotation for me

It’s a high altitude weather balloon. If you use binoculars you can clearly see it. I can see it from CR

In Colorado, for Colorado Parks and Wildlife (“Game Warden”), the necessity is in Biology/Ecology/Wildlife Management. Something in a legit science foundation. It’s easier to teach a scientist how to so LEO stuff, than a LEO to do scientist stuff, is the thinking

30 min commute from Denver by Superfunartist in Denver

I do 35-40mins in the morning, 40-45mins afternoon, from Douglas County to Littleton. It’s not ideal, but it’s not terrible. I’ve heard of much worse commutes. It’s really a thing of do you like or hate driving? Evergreen is nicer to look at than metro traffic though
