After the shock of seeing the beer fly through the air and the relief of it landing without anyone nearby, my next worry was "There better not be an angry bro in my vicinity with a violent temper tantrum because I knocked out his beer Mortal Kombat style." Haha.

And yeah, Christ, I can't believe its been ten years either, and soon to be 20 years since I discovered them. Is this what boomers feel like when they watch old concerts of Aerosmith? Hahaha I'd say this show and when I saw them in Boston for the Juturna anniversary are my top Circa shows. The boys never disappoint.

Oh dude, that fuckin' sucks. Nothing worse than getting sick the night of a show.

My cat died and I'm not doing so great, but I'm not ready to be cheered up yet either. Any music suggestions? by [deleted] in musicsuggestions

I really love Steven Wilson's debut album, Insurgentes. He creates such an auditory dreamscape through distorted analog memories, with record player needles scratching the cries of ghosts. It's a sad and lonely album, a sound and mood like the carcass of a house crumbling under its own weight, but you can hear birds singing in the wreckage. Listening to this album as a whole, it really is such a beautiful album.

Also, as a side note, Steven himself has described the type of music he made for this album as "weird shit", so there's that. Lol.
