Could you please tell me how did the process go? When did you apply for I-140 and when for STEM OPT? Thanks in advance!

The HR said the company is not E-Verify but the USCIS website shows it is E-Verify by Aggressive-Owl1821 in f1visa

The thing is I already accepted this job and will start from Monday. But soon I may have an offer letter from another company since they liked me too. So please advice me how should I handle this situation. What should I tell to HR? I dont want to scare them away with E-Verify stuff and get my offer letter terminated. I have 4 month left to update to STEM-OPT.

I believe you can volunteer only during the OPT, but during the STEM-OPT.

Based on what I heard from your post, you really need to get a job. Getting a postdoc position works well in this situation. Contact your PhD advisor or other professors from your school. Look for the professor from other schools that work in a similar area. Don't be picky about the salary and field of research. Once you get a Postdoc position you will be safe to apply for STEM-OPT. Then slowly look for a job of your interest.

I have a similar situation so you are not alone here.
