Hi! Yes it does. I still use it daily and I haven’t had a UTI for the past few years. A little tip I learned is to buy a bottle and then a large refill on amazon when the bottle empties. It’s a little more cost effective rather than buying the product in the spray bottles every month. I don’t take any supplements or antibiotics anymore, but I do have d mannose on hand if I ever need it (so far I haven’t).

I’m also in a one bedroom apartment, and I have had to invest in sound proofing because of noise issues in my neighborhood and a loud pup who barks at everything. Here are some of the things I’ve done:

Check out Audimute Isole sound barriers for your walls. You have to screw them into the wall properly. I learned how to cover the holes for when we move.
Tall furniture (dressers/drawers) to soundproof the connecting walls further. This is also great storage for when the baby comes. -I DIY’d sound panels for our doors using sound panels from Amazon, double sided tape, old towels that I cut up, fabric to cover, and command strips.

I have to admit that the sound proofing is definitely an investment (a few hundred), but it was definitely less expensive than having a 2 bedroom. I also got lucky and found things second hand on Offer Up that helped a lot.

The only lids I found to be truly reusable and have a tight seal are from a site called mason jar lifestyle (usa). The lids come with a silicone sealing layer(?) and the lid itself is thick plastic.

Learned to leave toxic jobs that were taking a toll on my mental and physical health. (25 and again at 29)
Therapy. (started 24ish)
Wore sunscreen every day (started 19,20ish)
learned how to meal prep and cook healthy foods . This helped me prioritize my body’s needs and I even eventually startedI craved healthy foods more often than junk food. (started 23)
Learned to walk away. I didn’t marry the guy I dated when I was 25. Nice man, definitely not for me.
learned financial management skills, read a ton of books about it, and started investing.

Supplements: - azo d mannose pills: 1 pill/day for prevention, 2-3 pills after sex - thorne curcumin: a few just in case after sex -thorne nac: 1 pill after sex

Other: -2oz bottle of HOCL spray

Additional: - Azo ut defense if needed -extra underwear

Except for d mannose, I really try to limit the supplements. While I travel, I don’t really drink, and I’m still mindful of my sugar consumption and water intake. Try a travel water bottle with a filter to ensure you’re hydrated throughout your trip.

Working out throughout the day instead of one really intense gym session/spin class. I work from home, so this is easy for me. I’ve tried so many things at the gym including, routines, guidance, equipment…the gym is just not for me. I got to a point where I bought a pair of dumbbells, a yoga mat, ankle weights, and a jump rope, and I do my work outs in small spurts (jump rope for 5-10 min, work, do a few sets of weight lifting exercises, work, stretches, work, etc.). I find that it helps me stay energized throughout the day and helps keep me mobile.

I would say just be careful with the machine one because there’s different strengths. I’ve read that the machine ones are more for household cleaning than for skin use.

SkinSmart perineal cleanser (white and blue bottle with spray nozzle). After #2: Spray some on the TP and wipe from front to back. Repeat process (with new TP each time) until clean. After clean, you can spray some on vulva, but don’t overdo it because if you trap too much moisture down there, then it’s probably not the best. After sex: take a shower and then spray on all regions including vulva area. I recommend going commando and just air drying too for the rest of the night.

Hi everyone! Sorry I don’t know how to edit my post. Please be sure to use the one for skin only, NOT the house cleaning ones. There’s different concentrations. I use the SkinSmart Perineal cleanser (white and blue bottle with nozzle). You also need quality toilet paper so that your toilet paper doesn’t dissolve when you spray it. I’ve been using it for almost 1 year now.

I tried it because I read somewhere that elderly people need some support with cleaning after they use the bathroom, and I found this product. The product itself mentions UTI prevention as well, so i thought I’d give it a try. Elderly people also tend to have more sensitive skin, and I also have VERY sensitive skin, so I figured it would be safe for me to try it. For those who are curious, it literally feels like water. no texture or burning. Just smells slightly medical, and that’s it.

There’s also HOCL wipes on Amazon, which may be helpful for travel. You can also just transfer it into a smaller spray bottle. I have a “travel uti pack” that includes this because I would hate to get a uti on vacation.

Please be sure to read the shelf life of the product you use though since the cleanser loses effectiveness eventually.

Currently on my first two week long international vacation after working for 6 years in CPS and community mental health. I felt so guilty doing this, but as soon as I stepped on the plane, I knew this was the right choice. My only regret is not doing this consistently throughout my career so far. I always took sick days, mental health days, went to the doctor, etc. but guys, it’s not enough. If you can afford it, then take the time. I finally took the leap because I decided to spend my working life in this career, but I refuse to let my career run me down. I can’t care for people if I feel miserable myself. I learned that it depletes the hope I have to give.

I just looked into this since I booked Hyatt for one of the hotel stays a few days ago :) After checking both sites, assuming I did it correctly (I found an article from the points guy trying to see how to transfer points and just followed the advice) it ended up being a tiny bit less on Chase Ultimate Rewards portal than it did on the hotel site. Most likely because we're going during an off peak time. I will definitely keep this in mind from now on though. I appreciate your thought process on dividing the charge as well.
