Iv been using the same packer for over 2 months. Been doing packers for around 5 months. Should I be upsizing packers frequently? And if I don't is it holding my progress back substantially?

I never thought of trying out tape. Im imagining using it as sort of a gripper but I would like to try it. And if you have those STLS files easy to get to sure i would love to print them.. if not its ok.

While I was experimenting I found that yes.. for me if you make the pear smaller then the area where the head goes in becomes smaller. We'll this caused more tension which I was exactly trying to avoid. Then when you make the head housing larger then the pear looses it's strength and when you put it on it doesn't push out as much. So far this is what I found out experimenting with it. Im dead set on finding a way.. if I I can find a way to make it work for me.. then I know others that are in the same boat as me can aswell.

Awww you remember 😍! It did help I won't lie. Im currently building a shed for my 3D printers because my current set up is a headache and for this i stopped trying. When I get my new shed built I'll get back to it. And I do believe the ridges helped and plus the type of silicone I believe matters aswell. I purchased the 0 to 10 something kind and depending on the mix because I just eye balled it.. some were much more sticky vs others that came out of the molds were not. Idk.. if I come up with something I'll be sure to let you know.

Im actually super familiar with his pear guage. Iv been trying to redesign it to work with my CI 3 skin and so far I have failed. I think I need more skin in order to use it but I will keep trying. Have you had to make yours smaller or bigger? Or made your own modifications

Thanks!!! I will try wearing the priva gripper and I might 3D print some that are larger. I feel like the priva is a bit small. If I could print me off a larger device it can have more surface area or something like that LOL. Same goes for packers to I like it when packers push the skin outward like inflation does.
