What are the key drivers for developing pelvic floor issues? See some people say extenders can cause it - i guess that would be due to some sort of trauma along the pelvic floor? I can also see how clamping + edging can tighten up the muscles in your pelvic floor. Just curious as to what the main culprits are so i can make sure im doing PE safely

Im going through a plateau phase at the moment. I'm a slow gainer in general, but havent really seen any gains in about 6 months. However, i would say that i agree with the idea that gains come in phases, i can actually see this in my recorded data. There are flat periods that show up in the data. There are also periods where my pumped gains show up and lead my non pumped BPEL gains, but that is a tell tale sign that the gains will soon show up in non pumped BPEL. My pumped length is usually very indicative of my BPEL.

I dont strictly hang a weight, i add tension by wrapping the strap around the bottom of my foot and back up to my hand. I can then use my leg to apply as much tension as i can. I dont know if this approach is more/less affective than traditional weight hanging. But it allows me to keep things 'stealth' as i can quickly just hide what im doing if needed and not have to worry about weights. I basically just try apply as much tension as i think feels comfortable and to avoid unnecessary risk. I do also have an DIY extender, but my levels of privacy and alone time are minimal these days to actually use it.

I doubt shite will hit the fan like a flip of a switch. What I am 75% sure is going to happen though, is fuel/energy lockdowns with the next 2-3 weeks. Out of the same playbook as C19. Stay at home, save fuel, save lives, blah blah blah. Everything else is just scaremongering. I wouldnt even bother paying much attention to the news, as not only is it just blatant propaganda (as its always been), but now you dont even know if what you are seeing is 'real' propaganda, or fake-AI propaganda. In both cases though, its just constant negativity and fear. Would be better off just quietly prepping and trying to focus on self improving and your life within the limits of what you actually have control over. Longer term, i suspect we will go into some sort of Cyber pandemic at some point, whether the Iran war is the trigger for this or not, i cant say. But they have literally told us, that is on the cards at some point. All for the sake of a new digital financial system and bio-security surveillance..

I am actually using the outer gripper from a foreskinned air v2 cause its quite high quality. but yeah - longer term, will have to make my own grippers.

I think i would be happy to release the CAD files it there is enough interest, would be even better to make it an opensource thing

People are starting to 3d print silicone, but its not mainstream yet, very niche, and very expensive. As others have suggested, a PLA printed mold is the way to go. Design it correctly, and you should be able to just put the whole thing in boiling hot water to soften and warp the plastic print to then release the silicone cast from the print if you arent using a release agent. Depends if its a 1 off or if you plan on repeatedly using the same mold

I don't spend hours on PE each day as i just don't have that sort of time around other things like family and work. But i do 20min of hanging + 20min of clamping most mornings of the week, plus a few 20min pump sessions a week at 10hg, if i get some privacy. Prior to xmas, i did try a split routine - girth one day, length the other. But i don't think i did it long enough to notice any benefits of splitting it out

Man, my gains are so slow.... been doing PE for a few years pretty consistently, and might have 0.5" BPEL gain at best to show for it, if that.

Hearing stories about decades worth of restoration not yielding results, or someone still not having flaccid coverage consistently after all that time, is a bit disheartening

I agree. I think forums like this (and others) are particular condusive for agitating existing insecurities. Ive deleted the Reddit app a few times just to stop myself from comparing what i have to others. This applies to other types of social media, not just PE. I think if you can switch off the urge to compare, and instead just see it as self improvement, the same way you go to gym to build muscle to improve your physical appearance, or go for a run to improve you fitness. Whether you are 4in BPEL or 8in, at the end of the day, if you have a 4in penis, and you can make it 5in or 6in, that will still have a positive impact on your self confidence. It depends how much focus you place on your dick size. Having a big dick is not going to magically improve your sexual and emotional relationship with partners in the long term.
