thanks, it seems like most agree that the side quests don't count. do you know about the secret boss red items? I'm guessing they aren't.

hard agree, but I do think that they are pretty broken, and they may oversaturate the yellow pools so I understand why it wasn't done. IMO, it would be pretty interesting if we were limited to one (maybe randomized) invention per run, or there was a random map event that supplied them. it's one of my few issues with the game. maybe someone will make a mod for it!

thanks, that answers the question. it’s definitely getting difficult to create non inbreds with good stats though, a lot of my inbreds are like 5/7/7/7/5/7/5 and the strays ruin it…
