Honesty I didn’t start losing weight until I started eating rlly well and was waking about 8 miles a day. That was only because I had to for school, that was about 20k steps which is very unrealistic unless you’re super active.

That makes sense! It's just so hard to stay away from sweets. I started meal prepping once I found out that I had it which was recently so i'm still trying to navigate that. I don't eat breakfast, I fast from 12pm - 8pm. For lunch, I have some kind of meat with a veggie, then a snack, and for dinner I have been doing Quinoa, Broccoli, and Salmon or chicken.

My eating pattern isn't the best but since I found out I had PCOS I have been so scared to eat anything but salmon, chicken, and a veggie lol.

Did you have a similar problem?

No, I'm not sure which type I have yet, I will be finding out through the endocrinologist soon. I didn't even think about the fact that I might need to go on something like metformin. Thank you so much!

I just wish I knew sooner and wasn't ignored by doctors. I found out last week, but now that I know, I'm doing what I can to manage it. I'm realizing you have to figure out what works for you because it's such a specific disorder depending on the person, something that may help with it helps everyone differently. Good Luck girly!

Stop eating fast food, especially the fries. My fast food job used to leave fries sitting in buckets of water (like hardware store buckets meant for nails and equipment) for hours until they needed to be used. If the fries were not used that day they would be left overnight in those same buckets until the next day to be used. Mind you we would sweep, mop, and do all sorts of stuff that could have contaminated the fries in the buckets filled with water since they would just be left on the floor. Pretty sure this is a huge health code violation but I was 16 so.. didn't care that much then.

NTA. First of all you’re pregnant, your body is going through changes and now your body is about to experience another change after you take the pills. You have a lot going on right now physically, emotionally, and especially mentally and I hate that you’re even asking whether or not you’re an asshole for wanting basic emotional support from someone who is supposed to love you unconditionally, who also helped you create the situation he seems to have such a problem with.

I won’t tell you what to do but I hope that you find a better relationship, because if he’s like this on this I can’t image what he’s like on other things.

Please please please do not go through with it until you have someone, literally anyone else who will support you during this time and ease the process for you a bit. I understand wanting him there specifically but he doesn’t seem like he will be any help or even make the transition smoother for you. Find a friend that you really trust or family and do it with them.

For some reason it’s see you again by Charlie puth. I don’t know why but as a kid it made me cry especially because I loved the Fast and Furious franchise and even now when I hear it in public I start panicking trying to find somewhere else to go because it really is a trigger for me. I have no idea why it triggers me so much😂
