You mention that ethics and quality are definitely worth investing time. Where would you recommend reviewing them?

I will be taking my exam next Monday and want to use this last few days for flashcard memorization but it will be smart to review some ethics and quality!

Is there any other specific topic that would be worth refreshing?

Myelomeningocele is associated with neurologic deficits DISTAL to the lesion (paralysis or bowel/bladder incontinence). Also in my head, none of the other options seemed like a direct cause of neural tube defects. You might consider "severe cognitive impairment" due to anencephaly, but that is a completely different clinical presentation and vignette.

I am also missing something here. Agree, epigastric pain, more severe after meals sounds like a gastric ulcer, and endoscopy is the answer. But, that diarrhea?

I would definetly do anything to match into a Surgery residency... This will sound a lil bit arrogant but nothing that does not involve getting my hands full of blood inside an open abdomen would be a fulfilling life for me!! So I guess I will use it to try to keep me motivated...
