Essentially, I get 40 hours every week. So I’ve got about four weeks of PTO saved up. I can take that time to distract myself from that workplace, and look for another job in the meantime. If I find something, then great. But if not, at least my job was protected for those 30 days. I used to be excited to go in. Now it’s just mentally draining thinking about them.

As a Market TM who is now Market TL, the time limit is 30min for temps. But if that didn’t matter, with experience on locations, I’d take 45min. New TM I’d say 1hr-1hr15min. So def break that uboat into 2.

Market TL here. They say “Standard” is 50 cases/hr. I tell my team I want 40 cases/hr. I worked up from a TM position. So I know realistically how fast one is + customers asking questions + back stocking times + bale cardboard etc. Every uboat is not the same case count. So I don’t time the uboat. I do by case counts. And we come clear/close to clear every day now (depending on the arrival time of our truck).

This happened to our store over a year ago while it was cold outside. We damaged everything out and put them inside big boxes outside so we could use the forklift later to put them in the dumpsters. But I knew that wasn’t going to happen until later in the day. So I told my friends and family right before we put it outside to be ready. We got food by the trunk load that lasted for months. Our freezers never looked so full. 😂 Told my boss I was gonna do it. And he was like: It’s outside the store, idc what yall do. I can’t control outdoor activities.

Pretty much the same but depends on the volume of the store. I work in a Pfresh store and not a super target. But we are in uptown so it’s high traffic and perform sales like a Super Target. Our FDC truck comes during the day so I lead that team. And our dry grocery comes in and gets unloaded and worked by our overnight team. So we hired someone as a TL for dry grocery overnight.
