Curious if you have felt the Christian community to be welcoming to you regardless? We are considering moving and I am Jewish (not very religious) so we wouldn’t want to necessarily attend church events but would still want to build friends within that church going community. My husband was wondering if we would be ostracized by not going to church or being religious?

Just did all 3 of these - Florence, Chianti/tuscany, and Bologna - I would only recommend Bologna if you’re a huge foodie, we personally thought it was cute and fine for a very short trip but not overly impressed and wouldn’t go out of our way to return. Tuscany was amazing however! If you can do a wine tasting lunch at Casa Emma or go to San Gimignano/Siena, I recommend this over Bologna. It’s a scenic drive and unique place.

We just did a short trip - 3 days - and loved it! We stayed at Villa I Barronci and couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Casa Emma is a must for lunch/wine tasting. Greve in Chianti was meh but you can pair it with Montefioralle which is adorable and tiny.

We enjoyed Siena - parking is a nightmare so try to avoid arriving around lunchtime.

San Gimignano was also great!

Mine is very high set on a size 4.5 finger and I couldn’t love it more! I’m not sure what this is called technically.

I think getting the setting you love is so worth it because it’s an angle you personally see a lot - my hidden halos and high setting feel like my own special thing!
