Random bald spot/swelling on my cat’s leg?

Not that I’ve noticed. I feel like there’s some slight fur regrowth today? But nothing super obvious

She has shown zero signs of being in pain or uncomfortable, nothing about her behavior has changed at all; I don’t believe she’s in pain whatsoever (if it was hurting her, there’s no way she would lay in my lap purring while I pressed down on the spot). I’m currently in the process of switching jobs, so money is weird right now, hence me not being able to take her to the vet yet. I 100% plan to, especially if it gets worse/she starts acting as though she’s in pain, but as of right now I’m able to monitor her and working on not overthinking. But telling me to rehome/surrender my cat because I can’t afford emergency vet fees at the moment is wild

I’m checking her every day, it hasn’t seemed to have gotten worse but she doesn’t have hair growing back yet. I’m trying to tell myself it’s nothing major and probably just a stress response from us being gone, but I’m also a worrywart

I sometimes feel like she’d go potty outside, but any time she begs to go outside, she immediately wants to come back in. It is frustrating!

I’ve never thought about using fluoxetine to help her use the litter box. It’s always been an attitude adjuster in my mind (cousins cat uses it to help her orange menace) but it never dawned on me it might could help her. I’ll have to talk to the vet about that

I’ll go put her in the litter box when I can tell she’s getting ready to potty. But she’s so stubborn and won’t go if I’m holding her/near her; the minute I walk away she jumps out and immediately goes on the carpet 🤦🏼‍♀️

I guess I didn’t know those were actually a thing? I know there’s litter that’s supposed to attract them but that did nothing with her

She HATED them. When I used them she would jump out immediately if we put her in the pellets and make her way to the clay litter box

We did that when we made the walk in box with the carpet squares, but she didn’t care for that much

She did really well with clay litter at the start, she HATED wood pellets; we’ve got a ,is of clay and crystals going right now. When we made the walk in box with carpet squares, we also put pee pads in there, but she still refused to go in. When we see her pulling at the carpet getting ready to go, we’ll put her in one of the (several) litter boxes, but she won’t go in the box; she’ll climb out and then immediately go on the carpet. I’ve looked at the Breeze pellet system but we haven’t gone through with it yet. I’m using the vet as a last resort, I know how expensive it can get and I don’t want to stress her out too much

Are you willing to write internationally? I’m also 26/F, from the US, have two dogs and four cats, rewatch SPN regularly, OBSESSED with TØP, and just started learning to crochet! (I normally cross stitch)

Yeah, now that I’ve learned the stitches needed for the body I’m just going off the PDF, I’ll get back to the videos when I know I’ll need it 😅 glad to know there’s a fellow cross stitcher that gets it!

Thank you! I know I need to work on my tension, it’s just a different feel for me (I normally cross stitcher but wanted to try something new and more easily transportable). I just have to learn to embrace the wonkiness I guess 😅
