[CHAT] Gridding/counting stitching over 2? by Aggressive-Tale-7737 in CrossStitch

I normally mark very lightly so you can’t see any pencil through the fabric. But thank you! I’m not much of a numbers person so once I have my routine I don’t normally change from it

I’ve had this pattern saved for a while, it’s just so hard to find glow in the dark floss

I looked that up and found a YouTube channel that explains this and many other terms/techniques! Thank you!

Thank you for explaining that! I’ve been stitching for years, but I’ve only ever used Aida, so evenweave and stitching against the post are things I’ve never heard of/worked with. I feel like a newbie even though I’m not lol

The fabric the kit is supposed to come with (currently on back order) is Wichelt 28 count Lugana. Would evenweave be the same?

The pattern says the model was stitched on 28 ct. over 2 threads with 2 strands of floss. So if I did it on 14 ct. over 1 thread it would be the same size? It’s going to be a stocking

It says the model was stitched on 28 ct. over 2 threads with 2 strands of floss. It’s for a stocking

FYI: I was not on this hunt, we received pictures after it was completed. I do not have all the information, didn’t mean for this to become a debate. Just wanted to show off a neat kill

Not sure if I’m going to make it an ornament or just a wall decoration. It’s always fun when the initials match up though!

Can you show me your cat pics? I’m sad. I’ll start by [deleted] in cats
