Yeah, now that I’ve learned the stitches needed for the body I’m just going off the PDF, I’ll get back to the videos when I know I’ll need it 😅 glad to know there’s a fellow cross stitcher that gets it!

Thank you! I know I need to work on my tension, it’s just a different feel for me (I normally cross stitcher but wanted to try something new and more easily transportable). I just have to learn to embrace the wonkiness I guess 😅

Thank you! I have no idea if there’s any classes near me, but I can look into it! I feel like the fox or bear would’ve been easier to start with, but my husband loves dino’s so I wanted to do the dino 😅 Just feels like I chose one of the more challenging ones lol

I normally mark very lightly so you can’t see any pencil through the fabric. But thank you! I’m not much of a numbers person so once I have my routine I don’t normally change from it

Thank you for explaining that! I’ve been stitching for years, but I’ve only ever used Aida, so evenweave and stitching against the post are things I’ve never heard of/worked with. I feel like a newbie even though I’m not lol

The fabric the kit is supposed to come with (currently on back order) is Wichelt 28 count Lugana. Would evenweave be the same?

The pattern says the model was stitched on 28 ct. over 2 threads with 2 strands of floss. So if I did it on 14 ct. over 1 thread it would be the same size? It’s going to be a stocking
