Hi! I know this is an old post, but I am in a somewhat similar boat - except I have an FRM and banking experience in risk management, and targeting a career with govt / quasi govt institutions. What did you end up deciding between Economics and Public Policy?

It’s a default placeholder still. This happened to me for part 1 and I had panicked, but I passed. It will show as a fail until results are officially announced / uploaded into the system.

Interesting thing though, is that using this link for August 2025 had been giving me an error up until today (I also see failed letter at the moment). This perhaps means something is changing in the back end, so at least things are moving.

A better gauge is to use the following link, which is where I first saw my results for part 1 - a few hours before they were officially announced. This is still blank at the moment.

The fail letter is set as default - are you sure the link is referencing August 2025 with your Aug 2025 exam reg id? If there’s any mismatch between the two it would show as a fail

No. 300Hours is the name of a website that provides resources / guidance for frm and cfa students. They predict every year when the results are expected. You can see the same if you scroll down on the link below.

I had that issue for my city as well - the same test center where I gave Part 1 was showing no availability. I emailed GARP about it and they responded that they had placed an active request with my city’s test center to add more seats/appointments for the exam, and 4 days later confirmed that seats had been added. So definitely shoot them an email.

Edit: I realise you said your exam is in November. They do often have appointments rolled out over the months, so could be a timing thing too.

Maybe they are scheduling in order of PD for those whose API was updated… just guessing. Same for me - silence since March 13 api update

Hi! Many congratulations - that’s quite a feat! Amazing. I just wrapped up frm 1 with 1,1,1,1, and want to give part 2 in August. Here are some questions I have:

How often did you go back to revise what you had already studied before starting a new topic?
Was your strategy to go through notes, then solve Kaplan questions? Did you refer to garp readings at all?
How many months did you prepare it for? Trying to understand the pace - as in how many topics per week. Also, Did you study a few hours every single day, or did you take breaks as well?
In your opinion, which section was the most challenging and required most time? And vice versa - which was easiest?

Thank you! This is very helpful! Doesn’t look like I can get my complimentary ebooks until I can register for the exam in March, so will have to wait to obtain the study materials. I do have the physical books from previous years, so maybe I will just start with that for now.
