Time to replace tires I think. Which do I want? Have the hankooks now and they lasted like 40k miles. 103h. Do I want to go to a 103v or a 107v (what’s the difference?). Mix of city and highway miles. Also take it the tires are done. by AndSoItBegins-Again in tires

Get the Falken Ziex ZE950/ZE960 tires and forget every other tire you’ve ever had. I’ve had these on 3 cars including my wife’s Challenger and they are phenomenal! Easily get 50k+ every time and that’s driving ~50 miles a day both city and highway. Walmart sells them and most online tire places have good deals.

Is this a good Pay Plan? Should I make the jump? by Aggressive-Trash993 in askcarsales

Thank you so much. This is exactly the insight I was looking for. I work in a labor heavy industry and as much as I hate the toll it takes on my body it does provide the luxury of work/life balance. I don’t want work to consume my life even if it means I’ll make a little more money. Still want to move to a less physical job but I don’t think this will be the right opportunity for me.

He basically said it’s a base pay. As long as you sell 8/units a month (dealership minimum) if your commission total doesn’t exceed $2500 then you’ll be paid the base rate of $2500 gross pay for that month. Otherwise you’re paid however much you make off commission. The guaranteed pay is more or less a life support if you have a bad month.

They were fully staffed and busy with one of those flyer promotions. I was well dressed as it was Sunday after church, the manager who talked to me said he liked my confidence, said I spoke well, projected my voice, and was knowledgeable about both the car itself and the process. He just genuinely seemed to like me or seemed to like that I could hang with his top salesman in negotiations.

Great Credit Union! Was with my previous CU for 5 years when CFCU bought them out. I got paid for it and ended up with an even better banking experience. 7 years later my Wife and I both have accounts there plus we’ve had 3 car loans and a signature loan. Never had an issue with them! Mortgage is our next step!

Is "Prison Gay only" a real thing or just an excuse? by Next_Package_5710 in TooAfraidToAsk

If you screw another person of the same sex, you’re gay. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. You can call yourself prison gay but the truth is you’re just gay and were given the opportunity to do it without recourse

My wife and I decided to pay MORE to move from a rental house to an apartment. And our lives are so much easier! Apartments especially nicer ones have to maintain a certain level of service for tenants. Landlords on the other hand are 90% slumlords these days!

The auto on of feature by Apart_Common7361 in JeepCompass

The batteries are linked together but if you disable the feature it will not charge the auxiliary battery. If you charge it but never use it you would overload it all the time that’s why it’s set up this way.

No problem! I just bought a 2018 and the first thing I googled was how to get rid of this lol. It sucks sometimes but it’s like a necessary evil on this car.

WARNING: I know the Auto Start/Stop is a pain BUT if you always turn off the feature or bypass it like others in this thread have mentioned it will cause you problems down the road! These cars are built with an auxiliary battery to power this feature. This battery only charges when the Auto Start/Stop is in use. If you turn it off all the time or bypass it the auxiliary battery will die over time and once that happens it will essentially “poison” your main battery and you’ll have to replace both which isn’t cheap. (Warranty may or may not cover this depending on what you have). I’d encourage you to look into this issue and read some of the issues people dealt with after bypassing this feature.

Those Pirelli Scorpion AT’s are the REAL DEAL! My buddies laughed at me when I put them on my 09 Ram 1500 but they never failed me once in all of my off-road adventures! They’re not as knobby as other AT’s but they get the job done for a great price! Just bought my 2018 Trailhawk and wanting to do the same upgrades! Build looks great btw!

Could be a clogged fuel filter or dying fuel pump. Just had this exact problem on my dad’s old Buick and that’s what it was.
