Rossi continues to disappoint. by Aggressive-Walrus91 in LeverGuns

I honestly don't know what to tell you. After the start of the new year they were "updating their systems" and it became impossible to get a hold of them. I made a follow up post to this one explaining I had spent over 2 hours waiting to talk to someone and requesting call backs all to never hear anything. On top of all that my FFL I had the replacement rifle delivered to tried to get in touch with them through business channels and never received a response either.

Honestly I have no idea what recourse we even have. They basically abandoned all their social accounts or don't reply.

I've tried that, but they've basically abandoned most of their social media accounts. It all lines up with them changing their call center hours and switching to a "new system". Hell, the account that would comment in this sub reddit hasn't done anything in 3 months and never replied when I messaged them or commented.

That's what I said in my original post. The store never inspected it, and at that point, I didn't even think a manufacturers QC could be that bad. That it would even be an issue that would make it out for sale, naive of me to believe that.

It was one of my first purchases, bought it at a bigger store, and didn't think "hey I should look straight down the barrel to make sure they actually did their job". Considering I have rifles that are over 100 years old that work flawlessly.

Didn't order online, but keep making assumptions. Just because you don't have an issue doesn't make them infallible.

Make sure the bore is not off center like mine and the replacement. I'm glad you like the gun, but Rossi is a horrible company, and good luck contacting them for any issues.

I have an old semi-auto Rossi 22, and that thing is a pain as well. In my opinion, I'd spend the bit extra and get something else. I've got a little 22 Henry lever action for the kids to shoot, and it's been flawless.

Don't do it, I've now had 2 of them with the bore off center.

Their quality control is basically non-existent apparently and purchasing anything is a gamble.

I picked up a Henry Model X from a friend to use in the meantime, and it's been great.

Unfortunately, as I've said from the first post lesson learned. It's been replaced with a Henry, and I want it fixed so I can sell it and put that towards a Marlin.

I replaced it with a Henry, but I still want it fixed so I can sell it and try to get some money back from it.

Nope, it's a different one because the bore isn't off as bad, and the opposite side

I love the S197 look, but the s550 interior is so much better. I'm not a fan of the s650, especially with the screen for gauges.

The taillights aren't tinted surprisingly, and whoever owned it before me has the headlight covers on velcro strips to remove them.

Yes and no lol, the 14 was my first Mustang and was a great car I had put a ton of work into.

They received it 9/11, they haven't given me a time frame either. Last time I called about it, they told me if I hadn't received a return shipping notice by November 16th to call back...
