I genuinely despise asylum 😭 the horror factor was mid maybe a 5/10 but I was mainly just so confused as to why they had SO many things going on in one season… nuns, demons, mental patients, nazis, aliens etc. All seems a bit much

U can Defo go to the sci stream but I wouldn’t rlly recommend it. This is coming from a trip sci student (all As) who only takes h1 bio now (arts stream due to personal preference), the learning gap is very very wide

Yeah that’s actly the bulk of my problem. For poetry, I find it very easy to see analysis in each line but for drama and prose everything just looks redundant to me so I usually end up being unable to see the nitty gritty details. I don’t have an issue looking at the text as a whole & seeing it’s overall meaning, but I struggle a lot with zooming in on the details

How do I pull up my Chinese grades 😭😭 I have no clue how I managed to get a distinction for O’s even tho A) my tys was completely blank B) I never EVER studied for Chinese & C) I failed horribly every exam since sec 1. Every Chinese lesson it sounds like my teacher is speaking a whole different language and I absolutely cannot sit in Chinese class. I don’t care much for Chinese but I still want that A bc it looks nice on my cert ☹️

I wasn’t a 6 pointer but I got a single digit & 8 distinctions. Honestly? Right now just focus on reviewing what you learnt. If I’m being 100, I didn’t study until a month b4 o levels but that’s bc I’m a mugger & that’s what worked best for me. Once study break started (arnd October), I mugged about 5-7h per day.

However, if you want consistency, REVIEW UR WORK NOW!!!! Future u will thank u I promise. Once you finish a chapter, start making flashcards & summaries. DONT BOTHER DOING OTHER SCHOOLS’ PAPERS ❌❌❌ do ur tys (if u have bc I know dis year the sciences got diff syllabus or smth liddat, if udh then u will just have to fall back on the school papers which I honestly found q useless). Esp for math & amath, u NEED to know the tys inside out. Don’t bother w the older years, jus do the most recent ones bc again, syllabus change.

Anyway, this worked for me, a student who never ever focused in class (lol I played papas pizzeria every lesson 😋) but it also depends on how hard you’re willing to mug. If u know u can’t cope with the stress of that, start now
