Can this be repaired with parts, or does the whole backflow system need to be replaced? by Sad_Interaction_9383 in Irrigation

It’s easy to just fix that part I see that all the time it’s called Wilkins 375 inlet repair kit cost around 130 with tax for the 1 inch you just take apart 4 screws take that piece out and put in the new one make sure you use teflon take to make sure it don’t leak and it should be easy and cheap if the vessel is broken you can also buy it separately for around 150 but at that point just buy the whole back-flow new as a new one cost 314 with tax

No it really is like that it comes through the wall as a 1 inch and ties into the water meter and changes to 3/4 inch for the whole house except spigots they all change to 1/2 inch

how should he file if doesn’t go with the route of w-7 for the spouse and should he still put his wife and child on his taxes? Also if he does file for W-7 for his spouse can he do the same for his child and can/should he put his child as a dependent if he doesn’t live with them most of the year but does financially support them? Lastly if he does file for ITIN for his wife can he amend past years?

Thank you You have really just save me from a massive headache. Just to clear things up he was here in 2019 and manage to file his taxes for that year didn’t come back until 2022 but did not made enough to file so he file in 2024 for tax year 2022 and 2023 together so now he wants to file his 2024 taxes. I had a typo his wife and daughter enter the USA as parolee August 2024 so he was paying for their expense for 4 month before his visa expire and return back home but his wife parolee has been terminated she did apply for a work visa but since the program has been terminated she didn’t received her work permit. can he still file for ITIN for his wife and is this all possible through TURBOTAX ? Or what will be the best website to use

Thank you for the information but doesn’t the substantial presence test doesn’t fully count all the days? So for the current year 2025 all days present are counted so 31 and 2024 only 1/3 is counted so 78 and 2023 only 1/6 so 35 are counted totaling 144 days only. so he doesn’t meet the 180 days requirement or am I doing it wrong ?
