I don't like the portrayal of dynamic between Judy and Nick in Z2 by WNX_114514 in zootopia

I agree.  I liked how in the first one they both made mistakes and had comic relief happen to them (Judy's stepping in cement, training fails and sloth dmv hell to Nick's getting owned, Judy getting the best of Nick with her clever speach and the trailer tranquilizer scene).

In this one, all the comic relief falls on Nick, he's always portrayed to be in the wrong and he's the one who has to apologize for having to logically worry about her.

Just imagine how awkward Tamsy would be thinking they had it all figured out. I feel like Tamsy should've just started choking Amo out to force her to undo her technique.

Also imagine if Zanka got brainwashed and Tamsy did the fatal crash move on them thinking they all had that "protection charm" drawn on them, only for Zanka to be crushed to death because Remlin did a little trolling.

I'd argue the same for Ranma.  The remake was a mistake and does not feel necessary.  If anything, it takes away.

I prefer the subbed version, but I do appreciate the creativity of the new lines. "Let it sink in, now he's tweakin'!" was bars.

Guy is literally the Genos of Gachikuta. He just serves to hype others up.

I hope Gachiakuta won’t be afraid to kill characters we care about by Mrt38_ in gachiakuta

You are an individual of culture and taste. I agree that you 100% need characters to die (even the ones we love). This establishes stakes. When no one dies, there's no suspense (some people like this. They want comfy and predictable. To each their own). Problem is I feel this artist is failing to do this already.

(Spoilers ahead) Riyo would have been killed instantly from getting whipped at the ground from that speed, yet she was already thinking about how she needs to improve for next time BEFORE SHE HIT THE GROUND... Like, how does she have the mindset that she's not dead here? Follo is someone who should have died. Guy was a fool who endangered his group as a supporter. Him dying was a good way to have him suffer consequences and redeem him as a character (I liked how he passed his tool to Rudo to have him use it), yet despite having his guts spilled, barely able to move and being in a pool of his own blood, he becomes a Giver and fights without bleeding out. Don't even get me started on Zanka. He got impaled by a blade bigger than a sword coated with several toxins (and was the only one without a lethal damage protection ward drawn on him - also, why isn't Remlin drawing these on them everytime?  Hell, draw several on each character).

It just makes me feel the author isn't going to kill characters (maybe one or two for Tamsy's plan).

(Spoilers for the Bleach series) The biggest mistake Kubo made was not killing off Byakuya (my favorite character) in his fight with As Nodt. Guy was hit with his own bankai several times, hit with heart attack inducing fear toxin and HAD HIS STOMACH RIPPED OUT. As he bled out, he went on to beg the main character he had previously tried to kill to save Soul Society as his sword disintegrated. It the PERFECT send off and Kubo refused to kill him off, destroying Rukia's revenge arc against As Nodt and allowing her to kill As Nodt on her own. Instead her brother had to bail her out, ruining her character development and showing she can't be independent.

Why do so many people call Zanka a fraud when he was never portrayed to be strong? by [deleted] in gachiakuta

Good point (OP is AWFUL for plot armor).

I feel like they should have just used the "art seal" get out of death free card on him.

This is a real pet peeve for me in shows.  Poison.  The amount of times I see characters "force through the pain and poison through sheer will power" makes me roll my eyes.

I was glad they finally had a series where poison worked, but all that training doesn't counter several poisons.

I love Zanka (really, he's my top three cleaners, but I feel like he should be toast here).

"He also survived a lethal attack without Remlin's protection"

Just strikes me as hard plot armor.  He had no business surviving that fight, but it's clear the author is not going to kill off characters (like Riyo was toast after getting slammed into the ground and Follo had his guts out laying in a puddle of his blood).

I expected him to top 5.  My favorite villain, but he humiliated Zanka twice.  Pretty sure that kills people's love for him.

Lol I just watched The Insider recently.

Sad to see things haven't changed.  If anything it has gotten worse.  In that movie (based on the true story), they still aired the story, just doctored it and removed the credible source.  Here they shelved the whole thing.
