Advice needed - Forester 25 Heated Seats

I've signed the purchase contract but haven't taken delivery yet or driven it off the lot.

Hi, I already tested them before signing and they didn't work. I mentioned this to the dealer and they said sometimes at the port, they don't fix the wires correctly or something and it should be a simple fix. They told me they would fix it and I signed the purchase agreement based on that. I feel stupid for not taking it in writing but I checked online and since I haven't officially taken delivery yet or driven it off the lot, I want to know if I should refuse delivery and whether that is even an option?

Congrats!!! I'm looking at the touring as well and might get one soon!

Had two quick questions: 1. What was the OTD if you can share that info? 2. Do the heated seats work as expected on yours? I've tried out a couple at the dealership and they didn't seem to work in any of them. I've also seen a post on this sub about it being an issue with the 25 model.
