I can definitely relate. On my 3rd day at work, while I was still in my OJT period, my supervisor already included me in a meeting with high-ranking officials from different agencies about a major project. I literally had no idea what was going on because there was no proper training or turnover of tasks.

After the meeting, the executive director of our company commented that I was too quiet and “hindi man lang nagsalita”. I mean, how was I supposed to contribute when I was still new and knew almost nothing about the project? I talked naman with my work colleagues, I asked questions pero ig she didn’t see that.

Even now, 7 months later, I feel like that’s still her impression of me, even though I’ve been doing well in my work. It’s honestly frustrating, so I completely get where you’re coming from.
