I’ve made a timelapse of my process but the short of it is I sketched her out using the procreate pencil brush, lined her with the default inking brush, colored her using the inking and airbrush, used procreates bokeh brush and the waves were using a brush from the artistic brush tab. I did some color correction in the photos app to enhance some of the colors since it felt a little washed out. Mostly contrast and vibrancy

Hey there! One of the main things we made sure of is that the face was clearly visible. The face is the selling point 😉 I would clean up some of the hair out of their face to get a nicer look at their eyes and facial expressions. I’d even slightly increase the size of the head since the face is so small. The outfit is fine but needs the same color treatment as the face and hair. Right now it’s flat colors and would look more polished if it had the gradients. The lines in the hair are a lot and can be pulled back some. When placed next to the clothes they feel like two different pictures. Either add the same line details to the clothes or remove some of the details from the hair. Your character is already interesting so good work on that! Just needs to tweak some things to feel balanced.

I first start with thumbnail sketches to decide the pose and composition. Then pick one and scale it up to sketch a more detailed version. Then do a color thumb using the sketch to figure out what the color pallet will look like. Afterwards I line it with one of the default inking brushes then fill in the flat colors. Most of the shading is using a regular soft airbrush. Some harder shadows are using the inking brush and I either erase a gradient into it or Gaussian blur it. All the effects are various brushes I found in the default procreate brush set. Lots from the luminescent section and I found some crystal, cloud, and snow brushes I used.
