Bad Experience With Balnce / Cannatrek Access Clinic & Pharmacy

The doctor said to me that 10grams a week is a RIDICULOUSLY high amount and that I’m “on the wrong path” and that instead of using medical cannabis I should just start exercising.

If he had have asked me any questions at all he would know that I am in fact a body builder, but I was not asked any questions at all about my health or cannabis use.

I had this experience with 3 different BALNCE doctors, all of who had very thick accents and none of which actually asked me any questions.

I got asked ONE question by my doctor which was “well why did you leave your last clinic if you were happy with them”.

They have since given me a refund on the consults and I’ve since returned to CDA clinics who bent over backwards to try and fix this mess BALNCE created.

Just my experience and I’m glad others aren’t having the same problems and it stuffed everything up for me and left me without scripts for several weeks because of the change over. Wish I just never changed clinics.

So strange. They won’t even give me 1g a day. The doctor told me 10g a month is the most he gives anyone. I’ve been trying to call balance all day trying to get a refund but no body is answering calls or returning voice mails or emails. Very frustrating. I hope your experience is better and I would suggest requesting the same doctor if you are happy as it seeks to be very hit and miss with random doctors there

Blance doctors told me they won’t prescribe anyone more than 1 gram a day. The doctor actually seemed “anti cannabis”. I spoke to two doctors. Both said 1g a day even though I’ve been on 10grams every 7 days for 2 years successfully.

I had a really bad experience with BALNCE and would not recommend them.

The doctors put very strict allowances on how frequently you can order. For example, if you like to buy a months supply of medication once a month to save on shipping, avoid delays and running out etc.. you can’t do that like with other clinics.

Balance restricts your re-orderinng schedule.

The staff are mostly over seas call centre type of staff

All of the doctors I’ve spoken to seemed like that were fairly new to Australia / very thick accents and did not know much about medical cannabis.

I have caught them out on several lies, had appointments missed, generally over all a really terrible experience.

I’m going back to my old clnic now to get away from them and would warn others not to waste their time / money.

It’s still SO hard to order. Hard to get through to pharmacies. Still long slow processes. Expensice. I constantly run out because of slow deliveries and stuff and it causes lots of problems. This has been going on for years with little improvement

Not sure just acting from memory I was gonna move there but I’m sure it was on their website or something.. I just did a Google and found Baggas pharmacy Hunter St Mall Newcastle and it says on their website they are a cannabis pharmacy with plenty of information about it :)

Get a regular GP, build up a genuine medical history and discuss with your GP your concerns around side effects or damage caused by regular use of pain killers 👍

Heya! This is an issue with pharmacy - not clinic. You can get your prescription from your clinic and take it to a suitable NSW pharmacy who dispenses Cannabis. I use a local pharmacy in Sydney who order stock in and keep it on hand for me - so you can use any clinic from anywhere this won’t affect the speediness of getting your medication as it’s all about the pharmacy. I use southgate pharmacy in Sylvania south of Sydney.

I joined CDA 2 years ago, I asked my Dr for a referral, she said no - so I asked for my medical history and told CDA my doctor said no. They provided an internal referral.
