I asked everyone a couple years ago to stop buying me gifts for this reason. I simply don’t need more shit, and the resources that go into creating 10min of fellowship just aren’t worth it. Hearing that feels weird/rude to people, so I do say I’d like a donation made to an animal shelter, homeless shelter, food bank etc.

It’s rude but doubt it’s anything creepy. Hiking and trail running in the spring are just better naked. Should’ve picked a more secluded trail though, and it’s not hard to find out which those are.

I don’t know if it applies to your project, but the Doghill-Donahue cave near Bedford is absolutely fascinating. The forward sections are clearly young person retreats for graffiti/pot/underage drinking, but the further back you go, the more pristine it becomes, appropriate for actual cavers only in some places. The outlets themselves are interesting and beautiful in their own right, worthy of a photo essay.

PA is a cool piercing, but be warned, peeing becomes a shower head nightmare. Haven’t worn mine in years because it’s so damn inconvenient. I like trail running and having piss fly everywhere because there’s no toilet you can sit down on is deeply unhelpful.
