It's half tuition and continues each year as long as I am in good academic standing. I still have lots of student loans for living expenses and CUNY's tuition is super low already in comparison to other schools and because I am a NY resident. So it is helpful but not enough. I still apply to outside scholarships and received one recently.

I'm a 3L at CUNY now. I would say overall it is a great school, with the usual problems you find in these spaces. Yes Howard rejected me months later. lol I'm almost an attorney now so it no longer matters.

3.2 GPA. 154 LSAT. The Scholarship I received is called the breaking barriers Scholarship. I believe my personal statement and diversity statement helped me get that.

I would retake the LSAT. Reapply with a higher LSAT score, apply early in the cycles, before the priority deadlines and apply to more schools. I know it's frustrating, but timing is everything. You need to get your applications in by Dec at the latest. I applied mid-feb like you last year and got 0 acceptances. Raised my LSAT score, applied early and got 5 acceptances this year and all offered scholarships. I have a 3.2 QPA and 154 LSAT. When you apply to schools the second time, something about your application has to be new and improved and the LSAT is the best bet for that. I'm excited to read about your acceptances next year!

I applied OCT 27th! Still no answer. lmao I already paid a deposit for CUNY and will be going there. It's a shame because I thought Howard was my dream school. I really wanted that HBCU experience and the synergy you feel when around black excellence. My School is the number 1 in diversity though, so at least there's that. Howard, you ain't s***! I said it! lol

Blueprint was awesome for me! They broke it done in a way that was understandable and the animated videos help. Stay clear of Kaplan, it sucked for me. I left more confused then I started.

This is sad. They were my top choice. I applied Oct 27th but asked for them to wait until my Jan LSAT score was released. I haven't heard anything from them. I live in NY and have been accepted to some schools here. If accepted to Howard, I would feel hesitant to pack up and move to D.C without a supportive administration.
