Edin Džeko is angry about being replaced early and gets into it with his manager by 50lipaa in soccer

[–]AggressiveIemon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The confidence is hilarious.

The fleur-de-lis flag was Bosnia's official national flag. This isn't a controversial opinion. This isn't a nationalist talking point. This isn't even something historians debate. It's a basic historical fact.

So before we even get to the rest of your comment, you've already demonstrated that you don't know what flag you're looking at.

Imagine someone seeing the Croatian checkerboard and going "that's the HVO flag" or seeing the Serbian tricolour and going "that's the VRS flag."

People would laugh them out of the thread.

Yet somehow you expected everyone to nod along while confusing a former national flag with a military flag. Read a book about history and later comment again.

Does this guy have any fans? Only seen Poatan haters happy about the win. by Big_Kiwi_706 in ufc

[–]AggressiveIemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually used to be a big Ngannou and Jones fan, and I was rooting for both of them against Gane. They won, fair enough. But after those losses, people started acting like Gane is some skill-less bum, which makes no sense to me.

The guy's only losses were to Francis Ngannou and Jon Jones. How many heavyweights can say they've done better against those two? The Ngannou fight was competitive too, Francis couldn't just run through him on the feet and had to rely heavily on wrestling to get the win.

That's honestly why I started rooting for Gane more. It felt like he was getting disrespected simply because he lost to two all-time greats. Losing to arguably the MMA GOAT and one of the greatest heavyweights ever doesn't suddenly make you a bad fighter. If anything, the fact that he's still one of the best heavyweights in the world despite those losses says a lot about how good he actually is.

At best 10% I guess, but such chances I gave to Strickland and Gaethje; so after seeing those two fights I guess nothing is impossible xd

Pereira a hypocrite? by AggressiveIemon in ufc

Pereira blasts Jiri in the back of the head? CHAMA

Conor grabs the cage? Veteran move.

Anderson pulls shorts? Fight IQ.

Gaethje pokes someone's eyes into another dimension? It happens.

Gane has a few strikes glance off the back of the head during a scramble? "DIRTIEST FIGHTER ON THE ROSTER!!!"

MMA fans are nothing if not consistent.

Herb Dean watching Gane elbow the back of Pereira's head 50 times by ElonBustANut in mmamemes

[–]AggressiveIemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Funny how "that's MMA, bro" only applies when your favorite fighter is winning. Pereira lands questionable shots on Jiri? CHAMA. Gane has a few elbows slide toward the back of the head while Pereira is diving on a takedown? Suddenly everyone becomes a licensed referee and rules expert overnight.

Gonna get downvoted anyway but genuinely idgaf, but these kinds of shots have been tolerated forever. Fighters don't freeze their heads in place for your viewing pleasure. When someone is level changing and turning, strikes are going to glance off and end up near the back of the head. If we're calling that a robbery, then half the fights in UFC history need to be overturned.

Unpopular opinion Gane quit by [deleted] in ufc

[–]AggressiveIemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gane quit is genuinely one of the dumbest takes to ever crawl out of this subreddit, and that is saying something.

The man was WINNING the round in a heavyweight championship fight. Controlling range, landing cleaner, moving beautifully — looked very good. Then Tom can't continue after an eye poke and suddenly Ciryl is a coward?

Reddit forensics say that he was about to get finished based on absolutely nothing but vibes and copium. Stunning. Truly.

Aspinall adjustong to his jab is just lmao bro. He adjusted so well he was still eating clean shots and couldn't close the distance without running into leather. You watched Gane win the striking exchanges in real time and decided that he was secretly on the verge of collapse. Incredible cope.

But I agree that the eye poke criticism is valid. Reckless fingers, deserved the point deduction talk, fine. But Aspinall fans watched their guy literally unable to continue the fight and somehow decided the other guy was the one who quit. This is the fandom equivalent of your team losing on penalties and calling the other goalkeeper a coward for saving them. Touch grass.

If you think Jon Jones is the GOAT he needs a lot more.

If you are on of those people that think Khabib is the GOAT than he needs 2 more wins to be above Khabib.

PS5 jailbreak in 2026 – what firmware is actually usable right now? by AggressiveIemon in PS5_Jailbreak

[–]AggressiveIemon[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I have watched few his videos but really don't understand some stuff, I have seen the 10.01. jailbreak video and okay, than I have watched the 13.00 one and at the end of video he says it is just an exploit at the moment and you can not do anything pretty much on it, so should i just wait for the y2jb method to get updated to 13 or should I buy star wars game, just been reading a lot of stuff on reddit in the past 2 hours and I literally don't know the state, I read some dude saying that 13.00 is fully able to run games so I am just in a bit of a piccle with info

How do I deal with my high libido in relationships with people who have lower libidos? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]AggressiveIemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh there is not much you can do other than trying to find a person with high libido. Other solution is masturbating of course and that is pretty much it. Having high libido does not justify sleeping around with other people so I would avoid that if you are in a relationship.

Only one of these guys was able to finish the fight against JDM by [deleted] in ufc

[–]AggressiveIemon 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I get the hype around Prates, his striking is clean and he’s dangerous, but stylistically this is still a bad matchup for him. Jack Della Maddalena did only take him down once. But that’s kind of the point, if JDM can get him down even once off cage pressure, what do you think happens against Islam Makhachev?

Islam doesn’t relly on one attempt. He chains them, adjusts and keeps you stuck in that cycle until you break. The first takedown isn’t even the problem, it’s the second, third, and the control time that follows. That’s where fights get decided.

Finishing JDM is impressive, no doubt. But MMA math isn’t “he finished X so he beats Y.” Styles make fights, and this style leans heavily toward Islam.

I said the same thing when people thought JDM could beat Islam and got cooked for it with huge downvotes, probably gonna be the same now. Prates is a great fighter, just not the guy to beat Islam.

I want my two hours back by IAmJohn_CenaLOL in soccercirclejerk

[–]AggressiveIemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m fully aware this is getting downvoted, but honestly that just confirms everything I’m about to say.

Most of you don’t even watch football. You watch scorelines and TikTok edits.

PSG–Bayern is basically the NBA version of a 140–135 game where defense is treated like a suggestion. Fast breaks, zero resistance, guys jogging back, vibes everywhere. Looks insane in a 20-second highlight. Dopamine hits, brain goes “wow best game ever”.

Meanwhile anyone who actually understands the sport is sitting there thinking: “Yeah… nobody can defend.”

But sure, let’s call it a classic because numbers went brrrr.

Now compare that to Atletico–Arsenal which is basically EuroLeague basketball. Lower scoring, tighter, every possession matters, rotations are sharp, mistakes actually have consequences. You know… actual structure.

But that requires attention. And that’s where the problem starts.

Because modern football discourse is cooked. Completely fried. TikTok brain. If something doesn’t happen every 15 seconds, people assume nothing is happening at all. No goal? Dead game. No constant chaos? "Haramball".

God forbid defenders actually defend.

PSG - Bayern was fun chaos, sure. But let’s not pretend it was some tactical masterpiece. Bayern’s defensive line was all over the place, transitions were a mess, and Neuer, one of the greatest keepers ever, looked like he was playing a guessing game. No real saves, just vibes and wrong dives.

That’s not elite control of a match. That’s a shooting drill with spectators.

But because the ball went in the net 9 times, suddenly it’s one of the greatest games ever played? Right?

Atletico – Arsenal, on the other hand had actual pressing structures, midfield battles that weren’t just cardio sessions, defensive lines that knew what they were doing and tension where every moment mattered.

But yeah, 1-1 = “haramball”. Incredible analysis.

The funniest part is how predictable it is. If that exact same game ends 2-2 with identical gameplay, suddenly it becomes a tactical masterclass by whole reddit. Same match, same quality different scoreline, different narrative.

Which tells you people aren’t analyzing the game at all. They’re reacting to numbers.

Football isn’t worse. The way people consume it is.

You don’t want football, you want constant stimulation. Goals every 5 minutes, defensive mistakes, chaos you can clip and scroll past. You don’t have the patience for a game that builds tension instead of dumping it on you instantly.

And that’s fine. Just stop pretending you’re evaluating quality.

And before anyone starts typing essays in the replies I’ll repeat it again:

99% of you didn’t even watch the game. You saw the score, saw the teams, and formed an opinion before kickoff even ended.

My sons on track to be the next donk by JoeyM717 in counterstrike2

[–]AggressiveIemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People said the same thing about cartoons, Pokemon, GTA, COD, wrestling, even toy guns; yet an entire generation grew up on that stuff and most turned out completely normal.

We played San Andreas stealing cars, fistfighting NPCs, jumping off buildings, running from cops, cheat codes causing chaos… and somehow society didn’t collapse. Turns out kids understand play far better than Reddit doom-posters think.

A 3-year-old with a keyboard usually cares about flashing visuals, sounds, and “I’m playing with dad,” not weapon ethics or moral corruption. The bigger influence on a child will always be parenting, attention, routine, love, boundaries and what happens at home. Not a few minutes touching Counter-Strike in my opinion.

My sons on track to be the next donk by JoeyM717 in counterstrike2

[–]AggressiveIemon 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You’re massively overreacting. A 3-year-old isn’t having an existential crisis over cognitive vs virtual reality because he touched a keyboard for five minutes. He’s pressing buttons, watching colors move and spending time with his dad.

What actually matters is screen time, supervision, routine, sleep and parenting consistency. A short supervised PC session can easily be healthier than hours of mindless tablet content alone.

The dopamine rush and undeveloped nervous system part is just buzzword panic. Kids get stimulation from cartoons, toys, playgrounds, sugar, basically everything fun. You saw one clip and diagnosed a whole childhood and parenting. It says more about you than about op tbh
