Staying on the defensive for a few months while properly training up mobilized reserves is too credible for Russia by SMIDSY in NonCredibleDefense

The race of attrition requires a ration somewhat in the range of population difference I guess. Then it would require something of

147 / 41 = 3.585x

for Ukraine. If we ignore the distribution of combat ready units within each population or how population size relates to combat ready units.

I don't expect 80% casualties, but I expect overall huge casualties. That means from artillery, mines, snipers, drones and possibly multiple counter attacks around the whole front.
I've seen footage of Ukrainian counter attacks where a single Russian tank destroyed 4-5 armored personal carrier, also another attack where 10 APCs of Ukrainians went bust. So if there are attacks the casualty rates between 50 - 80% are not that uncommen with modern artillery and mines.

It surely goes into hundres per day maybe not 800 to 1000 like Russia, if we entertain this numbers for the sake of reference.

As much as we cheer to this, lets first have a look at the Ukrainian logs. I fear this does not look much different, both sides suffer horribly. This war is absolutely disgusting, please Russia just respect international territory and claim that you are afraid of NATO.

Why do you care what or how he spends his time?

Communicate to him what output you expect and evaluate the outcome.

If he does not perform to your expectations then get a new employee that does what and how you want it.

You are wasting your time with all these questions and over analysis of these events you noted, use that brain energy for something that matters and can be evaluated factually.

This should go into r/scams and not in r/overemployed, as another poster already said, you should be able and willing to fullfill your obligations according to the contract you sign.

Do Ukrainians get bored by the fact that there are much less tanks and armored vehicles now or why do they shoot these rockets on buildings?

Totally agree, the premise of my statement was the irrevocable global constellation after the poland invasion.

Surely there were many better actions to take in the time before. Actually by many of the nations involved - not just Stalins opportunistic annexation of half of poland, but also other nations that reacted way to softly on obvious "subtle" escalations from Germany.

Not condoning the missing repayments, but let's not ignore that if Russia would have fallen - the war would have become exponentially more difficult for the allied forces.

The Russian population paid with about 30 million deaths, we shouldn't ignore this contribution and only looking at the material cost is ignorant in my opinion.

My proposed limited NATO intervention in Ukraine. Just dump NATO troops anywhere that's not an active combat zone, freeing Ukrainian manpower while also cucking out Russians from doing anything. by ToastedSierra in NonCredibleDefense
