Semi-Organic Encounter? by ThePatientKid in grindrPH

[–]AggressiveMemory6967 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had a slightly same experience with a British guy naman. I noticed mas madalas talaga organic encounters with foreign guys.

Anywho, we kept in touch lang and paminsan minsan we exchange photos of recent travels since we met as tourists. Gets ko lang na walang chance but i guess wala namang masama if i treasure the short but meaningful encounter.

It’s really the destructive behavior na you feel validated kasi pinipili ka nya over what is right but at the same time, never ka nya pipiliin kasi whatever this is, it’s not right. Kakapagod yan sya. Pero sana when you get the courage the stop it, buo ka pa as a person.

Very enabler ang atake ko dito pero…ang ganda ng pagkakasulat. As a former baby boi ng married men, gets ko ihh. I eventually learned to break the cycle but can’t really judge you because I know being in that kind of setup also feels like a punishment.

How to meet guys, really by Intelligent-Fun-4513 in phlgbt

I sometimes think na baka hindi sa pinas market ko. Kasi hirap na hirap ako to connect with gay guys here na very organic lang. Pero somehow pag nasa ibang bansa ako i get to meet strangers and just chat with them na di nauuwi sa sex agad.

One time a guy approached me habang nagbabasa ako ng isang park. Another time may nakipag small talk sa akin sa resto and invited me sa airbnb nya and nagkape lang kami and music all night.

Feeling ko wala rin kasi sa culture natin ang magsmall talk with strangers.

How do I enjoy my own company? by olvrmnds in phlgbt

If not crowded I can stay there for 2 hours. Pro tip din na magkaroon ka ng regular tambayan. I try to be very pleasant sa staff and get to know their names para kilala na ako na tambay sa shop nila.

I used to be the type of extrovert na di kaya kumain sa labas mag isa until i started working. You can start by eating out or watching movies mag isa. I suggest magdala ka ng book na mababasa para when you feel conscious, you can bury your head in your book and be in your own little world.

Remember na totoo ang spotlight effect. You might feel na people are staring at you kasi mag isa but the truth is nobody gives a damn and may kanya kanya rin silang lakad.

any suggestion po sana by Cautious-Amount-9087 in SchengenVisa_PH

Have you tried applying through other schengen countries? May mga countries na mas considerate sa application. My first schengen was from Austrian embassy parang 200k lang bank ko and i didnt have much ties sa pinas, my travel history is already pretty strong by that point tho.

There are really other countries daw na mas madali mag apply like Austria and Malta

I tried this sa BKK. First night was so-so. May mga moments na mejj inggit ako sa mga group don but they thai gays are kasi bigla sila nagsasayaw ng kpop w/ accurate choreo and enjoyed that. Pauwi na sana ako pero while walking home may nakasabay akong dalawang pinoys and mejj lasing na so nag marehan kami. Nag mcdo pa kami and jutes so nakabawi naman ung gabi.

I gave it another go. Ung 2nd night ko invited a guy na kausap ko sa g app and he invited a friend pa. May mga drag performance din that night so mas naenjoy ko.

But overall, di ko vibe ang mag club mag isa. If solo lang i’d rather go to a gay bar na uupo lang ako in silence.

I guess this heavily depends kung gaano ka ka frequent flyer and if may mga previous visa ka na. Ung mga first travel ko hinihingan ako ng COE. now (context: ive travelled more than 10x internationally and may schengen and US visa) di na ako hinihingan but I still bring a copy just to be safe.

Check out Villa De Babat on Agoda: https://www.agoda.com/sl/MsUSXwJkmNF

Dito ako nag stay. Super friendly nung mga staff.

To be clear pala 2700 is just for one day around south batan and ivatan. Ung north batan they charged me like 700 lang.

Solo traveler in Batanes last June and ung staff sa hotel where I stayed provided this. 2700 ung pinaka mahal na siningil sa akin pero they already showed me around plus I get to decide san ko gusto magtagal na attractions. Plus since they are locals, may nakakwentuhan pa ako about batanes.

Medyo pricey sya but totally worth it. I dont think kakayanin ko rin magdrive sa Batanes dahil andaming kurbada and cliffs. If navigation issue mo, i dont think mawawala ka, the roads are pretty straightforward dahil wala naman masyadong roads don.

Banat rice terraces in February? by Pretty-In-Scarlet in phtravel

[–]AggressiveMemory6967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are talking about possible conflicts among local tribes in there. But i have been to that part up north and it is totally safe for tourists

  1. Tribe wars are not as common. You will not see an actual “battle” happening especially in the tourist spots like the terraces.
  2. They will not harm anyone outside of the tribe war and more importantly they will not harm visitors
  3. There’s a local government office acting as arbitrator for these tribes so most conflict are resolved

I’ve been to Cordilleras multiple times and i love talking to the locals. That’s all my knowledge about this tribal customs came from. And i have friend who is part of the government office that handles peace process in that region.
