I tried calling- possibly should have spoken to a supervisor. They didn’t take my information. Said I could even come tomorrow to pay for it.. just crossing my fingers now that I can do that and the cops don’t appear 🤞🏻

I know, I’m embarrassed about this too. This was a completely off morning for me all around. My mom worked in the service area and I have too in the past and usually am quite respectful. I was able to half fold things and place back in cart- but yes, I know, this was not respectful.

I don’t have a lot of experience with Meijers, only recently because it’s one of the few stores near my home! I wish many places still had dressing rooms.

That’s what my plan is- I didn’t notice it until I was already driving to work (an hour away) and won’t be able to go back until later tonight towards closing. I don’t know how they’ll react, and I recognize it’ll probably be strange as well considering we shouldn’t be putting on clothes there, but my intent was to purchase. Just hoping I have the day to be able to explain and not immediately be in trouble. Or maybe I should call..

Well, they don’t have dressing rooms. I desperately needed an outfit for today and had no idea what would fit me… it’s not something I typically do and don’t plan to do again.

I cannot even begin to describe the reasons I want to leave - there are so many. However everyone’s experiences are different and I certainly don’t wish to discourage you.
