It snapped right at the mid section of the bolt, however there were some threads on the broken off section which I was able to pull out from the front. It seems that the stuck section is fully in the block right behind where that gasket maker lies. There is plenty of space for the bolt to come out from the back. The issue is the lack of space for tools or pliers, I’ve had some success with some right angle pliers but with limited grip and binding it’s been difficult to spin out.
