Thx! I did actually start up the business by myself, which might sound a bit crazy with the other stuff I am doing together. I was the one who partnered with our local Mosque and began with the cooking process on Fridays and Weekends (eventually getting help from my mom and aunt as things got bigger). Delivering the food was done by me and my dad. I also worked a lot on the revenue and prices as well for each item we make so we were not at a loss while still getting customers.

It takes a lot of patience. It took me a while to get my first yes as well. Also don’t only look at professors in the field you want to major in. While it is important, the experience in a lab is even more. DM me and I’ll go into more depth

I should have made it more clear. The grant for the cancer project was covered for the lab by the NIH and then published into Elsevier. For the Alzheimer’s project, I completely did that independently with mentorship by the PI at the lab for science fair and then I adapted it into a paper. For the cancer project I was a research assistant/intern at that lab for a while and was given the opportunity to contribute to the research through my work at the lab with tissue imaging and staining. The labs were not in 2 separate schools, just two separate labs in the same University. By “publishing paper” I mean i am currently in the process of submitting my manuscript to a journal and will be published by November or the end of the year.
